Previously, Kate co-wrote four songs, including "You Talk", "French Dog Blues", "Baddie's Boogie", and "Deft Left Hand" for Pete Doherty's band, . The singles then appeared on the band's sophomore album "", which has been released since October 2007.

She knows which songs are good and which are rubbish so I go by her,'" the source explained about her previous music project with her two ex-lovers.
