Pete Doherty Collapse Before Taking Austria's Gig Stage

' frontman Pete Doherty collapsed after allegedly taking a number of narcotics hours before performing a solo show at a venue in Graz, Austria. His condition has reportedly forced his promoter, Bettina Aichbauer to summon the paramedics for a further medical check up.

Pete apparently didn't consider it as a serious matter as the singer refused to be taken to hospital and despite being four-hour late, he insisted to play, but the performance lasted only for 45 minutes. When asked about his overdose collapse, the singer says, "There was some minor problem but it's a secret. Nothing bad, though. I'm still alive."

Babyshambles Banned From Performing at Moonfest

This summer, Pete Doherty's band have been banned from appearing at three-day U.K. music festival, Moonfest. The rock group were due to perform at the Moonlight festival in Wiltshire, Britain, later on August 29 but police officers in the country claim that the band's stage manner have a tendency of leading the audience to violence and therefore have to be scrapped off.

The U.K. police consider to close down the show following Pete's solo performance in June at London's Royal Albert Hall which was marred by crowd trouble. The police have used Section 160, which contain orders to close premises in an area experiencing disorder, off the Licensing Act 2003 to get the band's live performance stopped. Divisional commander of Wiltshire Police Chief, Julian Kirby says, "We carried out an analysis of what Pete Doherty and his band does. What he does as part of his routine is to excite the crowd. They speed up and then slow down the music and create a whirlpool effect in the crowd. The crowd all get worked up and then they start fighting."

English rock band were forced to cancel their show at FM4 Frequency Festival after their lead vocalist Pete Doherty didn't show up in Salzburg, Austria where the annual music festival was held. According to Adam Ficek, Pete didn't come to the festival on the day of their performance because he missed the flight to Austria. "We are in Salzburg, with no Peter," said Adam.

Speaking of the cancellation, Adam says that though Pete didn't come and they couldn't perform, he and other band members, Mik Whitnall and Drew McConnell, still attended the festival in order to apologize to their fans. "We will head to the festival and apologize on stage," Adam added at that time. "Drew, Mik and myself can only apologise to those who came to see us today."

Only two months old, ' recent release '' has faced a problem with its credit. While frontman Pete Doherty did not fail to include his ex-girlfriend ' name in the songwriting credit, he did so for Wayne Kenyon.

The band is accused of stealing a song after Kenyon, who is a guitarist and a former friend of Babyshambles' guitarist Mik Whitnall, claimed he penned the song 'Baddie's Boogie'. Kenyon insisted that he wrote it in 1997 for his former band The Ferrymen where Whitnall was in too.

' frontman Pete Doherty has completed a solo acoustic record ahead of the project that is going on with his band. Pete's solo record though is the readier piece, will be released the end of this year after the band's new album is out.

As part of Parlophone artist, Pete has to take the decision from the label. A source from Parlophone said, "We're really keen to release Pete's acoustic record at some point in the future but not until after the next Babyshambles album, that will come out first."

After announcing a recording deal with Parlophone, is gearing up new album. For this sophomore effort, the band is backed up with their friends, and Happy Monday's Shaun Ryder.

Revealing the work, bassist Drew McConnell said, "There's talk of maybe Shaun Ryder doing something on it, and Amy Winehouse as well may be doing a little collaboration. She's a friend of ours. The Shaun Ryder one is in negotiation at the moment. Our people are talking to their people hopefully...we'll see what happens."

British pop group has secured a long-term deal with record label Parlophone. The good news was confirmed Tuesday January 23rd.

And while spokesman for Parlophone's parent company, EMI Group PLC's EMI Records, refused to give further details, Babyshambles co-managers said band members are delighted with the deal "and look forward to a long, fruitful and creative relationship with Parlophone."

Feels the need to give himself more time to recover from his drug addiction treatment, Pete Doherty has decided to cancel the rest of a British tour with his band . The band's record company, EMI, said Saturday Oct 7th that the British rockers had canceled a Friday's show in Liverpool and postponed upcoming gigs set for Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester and Newcastle.

"It is now clear that Pete embarked on this arduous and high profile tour too soon after his discharge," the label spokesman said in a statement. "The band apologizes to fans but hopes that they will understand the importance of Pete being able to best continue his good progress in recovering from addiction. The dates will be rearranged for as soon as possible and all tickets will remain valid."

Pete Doherty's decision to check into a drugs rehabilitation clinic on Monday July 17th as part of his on-going battle with addiction, has reluctantly forced his band to cancel the planned concert due to take place in Ibiza on Wednesday July 19th.

Regarding this matter, the promoter of the Ibiza Rocks event in the island's capital of San Antonio was sympathetic to the singer's problems, saying "We were all really looking forward to welcoming Babyshambles back to the island this year for Ibiza Rocks but, at the end of the day, we love and support Pete and it's his health and happiness that are important".

Pete Doherty and the band he fronts , altogether, have been dropped from record label Rough Trade Records. Concerning that matter, the U.K. press over the weekend claimed that the decision to drop the band came after an incident last week during which Doherty squirted a syringe of blood over an MTV news crew.

"Rough Trade were in the process of renegotiating a deal, but the talks broke down because it just proved to be so difficult to deal with Pete and the people he surrounds himself with," so said a source. However, Rough Trade Records have denied claims that Doherty's controversial antics prompted the decision to let the band go.
