The criminal charges are triple for Gucci Mane when he was arrested early Wednesday morning, July 23 in Atlanta. The rapper was busted for driving under the influence (DUI) following a routine traffic stop during which police found a small amount of marijuana and a gun in his vehicle.
He was taken to the Henry County Jail in McDonough, Georgia at approximately 6:00 A.M. He was booked under charges of driving under the influence of drugs, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Details of his arrest are sketchy, yet it's been confirmed that Mane was released from the prison approximately three hours later, after posting a $3,356 bond.
Mane, who catapulted to stardom with his 2005 album "Trap House", has yet worked on a new LP. His latest music effort was the 2007 "Back to the Traphouse".
