"High School Musical" star Ashley Tisdale has a new project. Reports say that the actress has become the new face and voice of Degree Girl deodorant. Ashley will not only do photo shoots but she will also sing songs for the ad campaign.
Ashley has finished recording the new songs and confirmed that fans can download it already. "You can download them on DegreeGirl.com," she said. Fans will also have the opportunity to meet Ashley personally by joining the write-in competition held by the company. On the competition they are asked to write about their sweatiest moment. The best writing will win a trip to Los Angeles and the chance to hang out with Ashley.
Ashley revealed the reason of her becoming the face of the deodorant product, saying "People sweat. No one's perfect."
An actress and singer as well, Ashley is currently finishing "High School Musical 3: Senior Year", the big screen movie sequel of Disney's hit "High School Musical" and also voicing the character of Candace for the Disney Channel series "Phineas and Ferb". Besides being hired for Degree Girl, she also did commercials for Toys "R" Us and T-Mobile.
