Sara Evans' representative has confirmed that the country singer is engaged to sports radio host boyfriend Jay Barker and they are planning to marry.

AceShowbiz - Sara Evans is engaged to marry. The country music singer is engaged to boyfriend Jay Barker and they are planning to get hitched.
A representative for Evans confirmed the engagement to People, saying "The couple are enjoying their engagement and look forward to their upcoming nuptials." No wedding date and venue have been set though.
Evans had her highly-publicized divorce to former husband, politician Craig Schelske, finalized September last year. The twosome, who exchanged vows on September 25, 1993, are parents to son Avery Jack Lyons and daughters Olivia Margaret and Audrey Elizabeth.
Evan and Barker, who's a former American football and Canadian football quarterback, and currently a sports radio host in Alabama, sparked dating report early February this year. A friend of Evans confirmed to People the two were dating.
Evans first appeared as an in-studio guest on Barker's show, "The Opening Drive" on WJOX, the day after Thanksgiving and had since then been called in to the show a few times. Barker himself had been spotted accompanying Evans on some of her tour dates.
"They had been dating for a while, but she hadn't been on the show until then. That was the announcement that they were together," a friend of Barker revealed at that time.
