As tribute to Heath Ledger continues to flow in, new report has just surfaced by the hour that the actor's body would likely be buried in his hometown of Perth following a memorial service in Los Angeles, U.S.
Hot on the heels of that report, Heath's parents and sister are all expected to arrive in New York by Saturday, January 26 to finalize funeral arrangements for him. Meanwhile, there is broad speculation that a memorial service for Heath will be held in Los Angeles and that his family is expected to lay him to rest in Perth with his father Kim Ledger is said to be planning the journey home with his son's body.
Among those expected to attend Heath's memorial service is Australian fashion model Sophie Ward who said she's planning to fly to the United States on Friday for Heath's funeral service. "I think we're going to L.A.," Sophie told the West Australian Newspaper for its Friday, January 25, edition. "This is just a funeral service. He'll probably be buried in Perth."
Sophie, who's also known as the sister of Heath's last known love interest Gemma Ward, furthermore revealed "My sister will probably make a comment at the funeral. Heath was an amazing actor and person and she is very upset. She has lost a very good friend."
By now there has yet any official confirmation made by Heath's camp about details of his funeral or the burial arrangements.
