While serving the house arrest, T.I. keeps his creative juice flowing by grabbing pen and papers to write down for 'Paper Trail', due September 2008.
Despite waiting for the trial that will determine his sentence for illegal weapons possession, T.I. keeps his music pouring down. The rapper who is under house arrest in Atlanta is writing some materials for a new album, and when he said writing, it is literally.
According to Entertainment Weekly, T.I. is back to pen and paper when he accumulated the six tracks that will make it to the album. "He wanted to take more time to really put something down (this time)," his representative said.
The album is aptly titled 'Paper Trail' and will be released in September 2008 via Grand Hustle/Atlantic.
A spokesperson has also confirmed the project to Billboard.com, "Usually when he records an album he does 100 songs and chooses from that - it's just that now he's officially starting to record. There are no song titles yet because who's to say if these songs are even going to make the record."
