Matt Dillon to Direct Dinosaur Jr.

Dinosaur Jr.'s new video will be the artwork of the actor Matt Dillon.

Dinosaur Jr. expressed the wish for Matt Dillon to direct the next video, and the Oscar nominated actor returned it with favorable reply.

Dillon will direct the band's video for single "Been Here All The Time" which is taken from latest album "Beyond". Some scenes will portray the band playing in Sonic Youth's basement.

"Been Here All The Time" will be released on April 16, two weeks before the album is released on May 1. "Beyond" meanwhile, is the band's eight album and is the first album since 1988 that features the original lineup. On February 7, the whole album leaked online but was withdrawn within 24 hours.
