R&B star Usher is sick with the flu and has been unable to perform in the Broadway musical "Chicago."

AceShowbiz - Usher, the five-time Grammy Award winner, is sick with flu and that forces him to absent from the Broadway musical "Chicago", in which he's been playing Billy Flynn since August 22.

Fans of the star were disappointed with the fact that they have lined the streets near the Ambassador Theater each night demanding refunds after discovering that it is Usher's understudy who would be performing.

Concerning Usher's condition, doctor has ordered the R&B star to be on bed rest the remainder of the week, meaning he may not return to the stage at all. Hence, the singer who's originally scheduled to perform through October 1 will extend his run until October 14.
