Gwen Stefani is "hard at work" on new material with an eye on releasing her second solo album before the end of the year.
After a brief period of break, Gwen Stefani is heading into the music industry all over again. The singer has confirmed the release date of her second solo album, a follow up to her 2004 "Love.Angel.Music.Baby".
The as yet untitled effort is scheduled to hit the stores December 4th later this year. Rumor has it that the new set will be simply titled "Sweet Escape".
What's more about the album, Gwen reportedly has again teamed up with Pharrell Williams, Akon, Swizz Beatz, and No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal.
"There's a lot of songs that were left over from the last album, and there's some new songs I did with Pharrell. There's a lot of Pharrell on this record. I did some stuff with Tony and some stuff with Akon", Gwen told MTV News on her forthcoming album.
