An Atonement for James McAvoy

Scottish star James McAvoy has joined the cast of Joe Wright's "Atonement" according to The Hollywood Reporter

James McAvoy gets an "Atonement". The Scottish star has signed on to join the cast of the upcoming movie.

There in the drama romance flick, MacAvoy will star opposite Keira Knightley, portraying Robbie Turner, a man accused of rape by a 16-year old.

"Atonement" is based on Ian McEwan's novel of the same name and will be directed by Joe Wright. Production on the film will begin May later this year.
