Renee Zellweger signs on to play Legendary British children's author Beatrix Potter in a new biographical film titled "Miss Potter"
US movie star Renee Zellweger is creating new story. This one has nothing to do with her divorce. The beauty has signed on to star in a new biographical film, which British star Ewan McGregor also is in talks to star in.
"Miss Potter" is the movie given title. It explores the life of the author of such beloved children's books as "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" and her struggle for independence in Victorian England. The live-action film will have some animated elements.
Chris Noonan has been tapped to direct with Richard Maltby Jr in script writing duty. There, Oscar-winner Zellweger will take the title role, while McGregor reportedly will play Norman, Potter's publisher and love interest.
