'Yes Man' Says Yes to No. 1 Box Office

Overshadowing last weekend champ "", 's latest comedy, "", has topped the North American box office. Making its debut in theaters on Friday, December 19, the Warner Bros. Pictures comedy has brought in $18.3 million over the three-day weekend of screening in about 3,434 theaters.

The weekend bow gave Carrey a better Christmas comedy debut. The comedian's previous Christmas comedy, "", opened in theaters with $14.4 million in 2005. Hence, it marked Carrey's best live-action opening since his "" debuted with $30 million in December 2004.

In support of "" upcoming release, Warner Bros. Pictures have finally released the full length trailer as well as two new television promos of the comedy movie. Bringing many never-before-seen footage, the trailer presents viewers with more of the extreme adventures 's character, Carl Allen experience, like bungee jumping off a bridge and finding a wife through Internet.

While the trailer chronicles how Allen turns from a "No" man to a "Yes" man, one of the TV spots lets out how far Allen would say yes to open up to the infinite possibilities in his life. One scene puts him in a situation where no one usually say yes to. In it, a homeless man is approaching Allen to ask whether Allen could drive him to the park, use Allen's phone and borrow some money. All of the new videos can be seen below.

A couple of "" new photos has been making its way out. Unraveled by Slash Film, the fresh pictures present 's character, Carl Allen, in two eccentric situations, one of which seem to be like in a costume party.

The first one posted in the news photo shows Allen holding a guitar in the spirit of a rock star with one hand while his other hand is making a sign. The other one exposes Allen and Renee Allison, played by , where the two wear Harry Potter-themed costumes with Allen as the boy wizard himself.

Following the earlier released teaser, an Australian trailer of 's upcoming comedy "" has come out. Unlike the teaser which focuses on the word 'Yes', the new video exposes what Carrey's character is saying yes to from learning Korean to road skating downhill.

Living an ordinary life, Carl Allen is seeking for thrill in his life. For that, he enters himself to a self-help program which principle is to say yes to everything and anything. Though reluctant of doing so initially, he slowly grabs the idea and sees his life being transformed in amazing and unexpected ways. But, soon he discovers that his new life principle has its own drawbacks.

Pictures, the video footage helps viewers get a better understanding of the tidbit's core story as well as the tickling sequences.

Opened with a compilation of clips showing little kids saying and sometimes yelling "No", the video explained that the titular character, Carl Allen, hasn't grown out of that word. He lives by rejecting mostly everything. But, then he signs up for a self-help program which main principle is simple, say yes to everything and anything. Practicing the rule in his everyday life, Allen finds that his life is being transformed in an amazing and unexpected ways.

Confirming producer David Heyman's earlier remark on his involvement in "", has landed deals to topline the Warner Bros. Pictures comedy which will become his first priority on his busy schedule that has been amped up since his move to CAA.

Based on a memoir by British author Danny Wallace, pic will find Carrey playing a guy who aims to change his life by saying yes to absolutely everything that comes his way. It has been said that the flick is intended to present the old-school funnyman in the vein of his 1997 "Liar, Liar."

Bringing up a really interesting tidbit, "Harry Potter" producer David Heyman has spilled the beans to MTV News saying is attached to star in a high-concept comedy that he is currently developing.

"I've got this film with Jim Carrey called ',' which I hope will get into production in the fall," so the man stated.

some unnecessary but mostly it was surprisingly good. zooey deschanel is always brilliant and jim carrey isn't quite as silly as usual. i liked it a bit.
