The 2007 TIFF's Movie List Growing
July 18, 2007 02:07:20Continue to expand the lineup of movies to be presented at the 32nd annual Toronto International Film Festival, the event's organizers have unveiled on Tuesday, July 17 other handfuls of film titles submitted into the list.
Previously considered to be included for the event, "Eastern Promises", "L'Age des tenebres" ("The Age of Ignorance"), and "Silk" finally are positive to join the lineup, the former two receiving Gala screenings alongside Jeremy Podeswa's "Fugitive Pieces" while the latter one being put into Special Presentation slot.

Taryn Manning & Wes Bentley in 'Weirdsville'
January 26, 2006 11:01:55Production Weekly brings the news that Taryn Manning and Wes Bentley will topline the indie comedy "Weirdsville." Directed by Allan Moyle, the script of the film was written by Willem Wenneker.
The story is set in the small prairie-town of Weedsville, crammed with freaky oddballs, strange occurrences, and not a lot of ambition. Dexter and Royce are your typical disaffected slackers. Chances are they would have continued to drift through life in a dope-filled haze if Matilda, Royce's girlfriend, hadn't O.D.'d on their stash.
