New Trailer and Two Clips From 'Surrogates'
September 12, 2009 01:09:36Two weeks away from the theatrical release of "Surrogates", Touchstone Pictures has made available a brand new trailer and two fresh clips. The nearly-three-minute-long trailer, which is filled with explosions galore, comes out courtesy of Apple. The clips, on the other hand, are debuted at MySpace and Fandango each.
The first clip from MySpace exhibits the scene between Bruce Willis' Agent Greer and his partner, Radha Mitchell's Agent Peters. Greer, who has left the safety of his surrogate body, is set up by Peters to be involved in a car accident. The second clip, in the meantime, presents Greer and Peters going to the company that produces the robotic surrogates.

Bruce Willis-Starrer 'Surrogates' Offers Trailer
May 22, 2009 09:05:16The first official trailer to sci-fi thriller "Surrogates" has finally arrived via MySpace's Trailer Park. First half of this trailer focuses on the usage of the surrogate robots, describing the advantage people get when they purchase the robotic versions of themselves with the promise that the robot users can experience life vicariously from the comfort and safety of their own homes.
Having that said, the trailer cuts to a murder of two people through their surrogates. As the murder spawns a quest for answers, Bruce Willis' FBI agent character steps in to investigate the homicide. And, when his surrogate robot doesn't offer him the protection he needs, he ventures out without using his surrogate in a bid to unravel the conspiracy behind the crimes.

May 11, 2009 01:05:11An extended preview to "Surrogates" has been provided by the film's newly-released featurette. With a run time for about a minute and a half, the first footage from the movie adaptation of Robert Venditti-written comic books peels off what the movie is all about, presenting snippets from the film as well as commentary from both director Jonathan Mostow and star Bruce Willis.
"Surrogates" takes place in the near future where humans live in the comfort and safety of their own homes and only interact through robotic bodies that serve as surrogates. But, when the murder of a college student his surrogate leads to other murders, an FBI agent goes to investigate. Bruce Willis Leading Sci-Fi Thriller The Surrogates
November 19, 2007 04:11:48Jonathan Mostow-directed "Surrogates" at last gets someone capable to lead its cast. Report from Variety has informed that producers of the sci-fi thriller have appointed Bruce Willis to topline the project, just shortly after announcement on the postponed production of his other starring vehicle "Pinkville."
Set in the near future where humans live in isolation and interact vicariously through surrogate robots who are better-looking versions of themselves, the project finds Willis as a cop who, through his surrogate, investigates the murders of others' surrogates. The man, however, is forced to venture from his own home for the first time in years and unravels a conspiracy.

not a film that puts you on the edge of your seat...appeals to the geeky audience...few memorable lines...not worth the dvd when it comes out
