Jake Gyllenhaal and Duncan Jones to Team Up for 'Source Code'
November 09, 2009 04:11:39Jake Gyllenhaal is a step closer to land a role in "Source Code". According to Variety, the actor, who will be seen starring as Prince Dastan in upcoming movie "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time", has been in negotiations with Vendome Pictures and the Mark Gordon Co. to star in the sci-fi film. However, as of the press time there has been no word on the character that will possibly be portrayed by the 28-year-old star.
If Gyllenhaal signs on for "Source Code", he is likely to work together with Duncan Jones. The British filmmaker, who is best known for directing Sam Rockwell-starred movie "Moon", is currently attached to helm the 2011 thriller film, replacing Shane Abbess who was tapped to take the respective duty last year.

Topher Grace Cracking "Source Code"
January 18, 2007 03:01:00Straying into a genre he seems unlikely to jump in, Topher Grace is set to star in a sci-fi thriller entitled "Source Code" for Universal Pictures, Variety has reported.
Apart from starring, Grace will also seat as executive producer alongside his partner Gordon Kaywin with Mark Gordon producing and Ben Ripley penning the script. Details on plot, however, are being kept under wrap though it is said that the project does revolve around time travel.
