The torture flick, still released under Lionsgate Films banner, took quite an effortless move to scoop up a wonderful $31.8 million, a tally on par with $33.6 million debut its predecessor "Saw III" scored over the same weekend last year.

Saw IV Has One More Clip Online, 'Leaving the Clinic'
October 19, 2007 02:10:15Fans of "Saw" series really get many footage to check out from the upcoming "Saw IV" this past days. Following the recent "Hair Trap" clip, another one has delightfully made its way to surface on the net, titled "Leaving the Clinic."
For those looking for more gory shots, prepare to get disappointed as the new clip does not contain any, only featuring a heavily pregnant Jill, Jigsaw's then-wife played by Betsy Russell, being confronted by a man, recognized to be Cecil, who later suffers the Knife Chair trap. You can watch the clip on Reelzchannel.com in flash format or reach it through a link at AceShowbiz's Saw IV Trailer page.

Another Saw IV Clip Unleashed
October 15, 2007 03:10:03Jigsaw's terror indeed still continues as another victim is on the verge of meeting her end, that's what the new clip for "Saw IV" seems to suggest.
Displaying footage from the first of Sergeant Rigg's tests, the clip can be viewed on Movies.break.com after entering code number of 1026. The same piece is also available via YouTube by now, as presented below.

A Message from Jigsaw in New Saw IV Clip
October 04, 2007 02:10:18Jigsaw may be dead, but it does not mean the game he played is over, another clip for "Saw IV" has indicated so.
Yes, a video featuring the killer in his famous mask has been posted on both MySpaceTV and YouTube for millions to see by now. This time, he's not asking you to escape from a vicious trap, but only demands you to answer his question: "What's on the tape?" and to see what he sees, though, so go check it out for yourself.

New Saw IV Movie Stills Coming
September 28, 2007 11:09:54Following the launch of gruesome "Autopsy" clip two weeks ago, two new images from "Saw IV" have now been put online by Moviesonline.ca which are likely to bring more curiosity on fans of the horror franchise.
Taking a look on both pictures, the first one undoubtedly alerts us to a new Glass Box Trap while the second surprisingly features an alive and seemingly healthy Jigsaw. As the twisted serial killer was killed in "Saw III" while producer Mark Burg previously stated that the character would be neither a ghost nor confined to flashbacks, his appearance could probably indicate that the movie may simply be not linear with the other "Saw" films.

A Major Update on Official Saw IV Site
September 15, 2007 01:09:07One could probably feel excited and depressed at the same time on the news informing Lionsgate Films has updated the official website for its forthcoming "Saw IV."
The good thing is that the site has interesting, new features to look up to, which include a run-through of past traps and victims and the new "Autopsy" clip. The bad one is, not all of you out there can enter the site easily as it now puts an age verification screen in the home page that visitors must fill in to pass through. Guess this will also bring disappointment to fans living outside the States.

Gruesome Saw IV Clip Slips into the Net
September 14, 2007 03:09:43A clip for "Saw IV" previously banned from this year's 2007 San Diego Comic-Con has finally made its way to appear online, which no doubt will mend the disappointment fans felt upon not being able to see it at the event.
Be warned though, as the piece, referred as "Autopsy" clip, obviously is not for the faint of heart due to its gory and extremely graphic content. As the clip's name suggests, it's all about the process of autopsy, performed on Jigsaw's corpse.

October 31, 2006 09:10:10Riding high on the success of "Saw III" which has garnered $33.6 million during its three-days run, Lionsgate as the franchise's production company is reportedly planning to set up its follow-up, "Saw IV", with an aim to also release it by Halloween next year.
No details yet on the cast, writer, director, and plot, but the story presumably will still deal with the elaborate, bloody games that psycho killer Jigsaw schemes neatly to test the moral fiber of his victims.
