'Repo! The Genetic Opera' Sequel Eyes 2009 Production

A sequel of "" has apparently been thought of. In a recent interview with Moviehole, the rock musical's director Darren Lynn Bousman has teased that he is planning to start on the production of a second movie by 2009. Of it, he fessed up, "I want to start a sequel next year."

"But again, everything-I'll end my whole thing on a soapbox, which I love to get on," the man behind three installments of "" franchise further explained. "This movie is all about support from the Internet, and support from fans. This is not a movie where you'll see billboards or bus stop ads or trailers on TV. It's a movie that exists in a grass roots kind of a fashion. It exists when fans go and see it, and they go on message boards and talk about it."

The official MySpace page for "" has posted a new clip from the rock musical thriller. Entitled "Chase the Morning", the three-minute plus clip reveals the scene where 's Shilo Wallace meets 's Blind Mag for the first time. In this musical number, Mag introduces herself as Shilo's godmother and shows her extraordinary ability.

In the year of 2056 where the planet has been devastated by the organ failure epidemic, one biotech company, GeneCo, comes out as a savior as it sells organ transplant. However, there is a catch behind it, if the person receiving the transplant fails to pay on schedule, he or she has to face the 'Repo' man. Amidst all of that, a girl with a rare blood disease is looking for a cure. Instead of finding what she has been looking for, she is being sucked to the world of GeneCo.

The upcoming rock musical thriller "" has provided fans with a look inside the movie through teaser and trailer. It has also displayed the extended clip wherein can be seen practicing her singing talent. Now, the Darren Lynn Bousman-directed film presents a behind-the-scene look into the making of "Mark It Up" scene.

Focused on the musical number "Mark it Up" on both the filming of the scene and the recording of the music as well, the video serves as the introduction of the Largo children explaining the characteristic of Luigi and Pavi Largo. It shows the on-set footages in which the actors are performing the song as well as rehearsing for the number. The video also sees composers/writers Terrance Zdunich and Darren Smith and director Bousman giving comment on the track.

With the forthcoming rock musical "", the 27-year-old is going to combine those two talents and it can be seen through the film's recently released extended clip.

Portraying Rotti Largo's daughter by the name of Amber Sweet, in the more than three minutes clip, Hilton can be seen joining the other cast ensemble when they perform one musical number explaining about Zydrate. Sharing screen with who is depicting Shilo Wallace, the clip also explains that Sweet is addicted to surgery.

Few days after Darren Lynn Bousman's rock musical thriller got its extended trailer, words are coming out that "" has received its release date. Reportedly, LionsGate Films has tentatively set this movie to be outed at the same day "" become available on the big screen on November 7, 2008.

Originally slated for April screening, the tidbit is now said to be eyeing a limited release on the new scheduled date. Nevertheless, further details concerning which cities chosen for the limited viewing have yet been shared. So far, LionsGate's press site still noted the release date as "Coming Soon!".

Before LionsGate Films' "" gets its world premiere at the Fantasia Film Festival sometime in early July, a new trailer of the musical thriller has been premiered. Providing a background story for the viewers, the trailer gives out a much better look into the film than the teaser.

Compared to the earlier released teaser, the video footage manages to bring an original taste as well as stunning footages. The compilation of clips combines comic book styling and snippets from the film. It is also focused on the epidemic hitting the planet and Shilo Wallace, the girl who is trying to find the cure of her rare blood disease sickness.

Here's one casting call all of the aspiring performers should pay attention to. Director Darren Lynn Bousman has posted an announcement on his MySpace page saying his new flick "" is in need for approximately 200 people around Toronto, Canada to volunteer as extras in the project.

Participants should be between the ages of 25 and 75 with the wardrobe requirements being tuxedos/black suits for men and formal attire for women. Those selected will all take part as opera patrons while getting chances to appear together with the movie's cast that includes , , Paul Sorvino, and , among others.

i loved the ovie, it was so good i went to see ti twice in a day. it was so good, as soon as it came out in dvd i had to have it! it was so just amazing!

Loved the movie especially Vega's character. Hope they make the sequel sooner rather than later.

Im givin this load of shit 2 stars because Alexa was in it. but this movie was crap. Xcuse my language but it is bull. Not to say that i hate vega, but how could such a girl act in this bull.for me, add 2 stars to a movie w/ alexa vega in it.Bottom line,the movie is bull
