Anne Hathaway's Thriller 'Passengers' Welcomes Trailer
September 01, 2008 11:09:23The drama thriller from director Rodrigo Garcia, "Passengers", has just revealed its trailer. Focusing on the mystery lying behind one surviving passenger of a plane crash, the video lets out a unique and interesting footage from the Columbia Pictures' flick starring Anne Hathaway and Patrick Wilson.
Claire Summers is a young therapist assigned by her mentor to provide counsels to ten survivors of a plane crash from which one surviving passenger, Eric, gets super powers. Intrigued by the secrets surrounding Eric, she builds up a relationship with him that soon takes a romantic route. But, as the romance blossoms, the survivors begin to vanish one by one.

January 05, 2007 03:01:25Keeps filling in his acting resume, "Little Children" star Patrick Wilson has reached deal to take part in "Passengers", the supernatural thriller project made under Mandate Pictures banner for Columbia Pictures to distribute, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

December 15, 2006 09:12:33Making an unlikely venture in her acting career, Anne Hathaway has landed a deal to topline a supernatural thriller entitled "Passengers" which will be developed by Mandate Pictures for Columbia Pictures to distribute domestically.
Scheduled to begin filming early next year, the feature focuses on Hathaway's character, a grief counselor, who helps six plane crash survivors while establishing a special connection with one of them. Things turn darker when the survivors begin to disappear mysteriously, leading her to a determination to find the truth behind the occurrence.

This movie was the best I have seen in a very long time. I was so very moved. I was sobbing at the end. I am not sure if it was because of the fact that the characters were never really able to love each other in real life, or why. I was touched! Realy..!!!

posted by Matsoso on Jul 25, 2009 06:26:35i dont think u can call it a thriller...its more of a drama..especially if u become one with the pain that can be caused by human neglation..and unfortunately we have 2 recent incidents...so who can help crying at the end of the movie?I couldn't...very moving..
