Meet The Browns Charity Auction

Lion's Gate Films has announced an eBay charitable auction for several exclusive "MEET THE BROWNS" posters signed by Tyler Perry, Angela Bassett, Rick Fox, Sofia Vergara, Jennifer Lewis, David Mann, Tamela Mann, and Lance Gross. All the money raised will be donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

Along with the studio certified posters signed by the cast and filmmakers, the winning bidders will receive a signed letter verifying their authenticity. The letter will be signed by Erika Schimik, Lion's Gate Senior VP, on behalf of the company.

Tyler Perry's 'Meet the Browns' Trailer Comes Out

Lions Gate Films have given out treats for Tyler Perry's fans as they released the trailer of the multi talented filmmaker's new drama comedy project "Meet the Browns". Preceding the release of the film on March 21, the trailer lets out the first look into the movie starring Angela Bassett, Jenifer Lewis, David Mann, Perry and also Rick Fox.

The trailer that lasted for 2:28 minutes pretty much gives out the idea about the whole film which follows the pivotal character Brenda as she faced financial problems and after discovering the death of a father she has never met. In it, it can be seen that Brenda inherits a house, meets the perfect man, deals with her son's experiment into drugs dealing and has a grand time settling in with her new found Southern family.

Tyler Perry Pleased to "Meet the Browns"

Sustaining his good relationship with Lionsgate Films, Tyler Perry is on the move to make his fifth film project under the studio banner that will also be his next feature directorial effort after "Why Did I Get Married?".

The New Orleans native will both helm and star in "Meet the Browns" based on his own stage play that he produced back in 2004. Story concerns a single mother who rediscovers the joys of family and the possibility of second chances when meeting the fun-loving family of her father, whom she never knew.
