'Little Ashes' Clip: Robert Pattinson's Man-on-Man Kissing Scene

Robert Pattinson has indeed gone all and out for his performance in "Little Ashes" as can be seen in the indie drama's new clip. The snippet which runs for more than one minute displays the "Twilight" hunk as Spanish artist Salvador Dali and Javier Beltran as Dali's lover, writer Federico Garcia Lorca.

Opened with a shot of a full moon unveiling itself, the clip moves on showing that both Dali and Lorca are taking a dip in what seems to be a sea. Filled with sexual tension, the two 'dance' in the water, before they take their passionate love affair to the next level. Swimming closer and closer to each other, they finally lock their lips against one another.

Another new clip from "Little Ashes" has been unraveled. This clip which is posted exclusively at Apple follows a conversation between Javier Beltran's Federico Garcia Lorca and Matthew McNulty's Luis Bunuel. In it, Lorca recalls his younger year in Spain and why his experience there makes him unable to live in the country.

Set against the backdrop of Fascist Spain in 1922, the Regent Releasing drama follows three of the era's most creative young talents, Salvador Dali, Federico Garcia Lorca and Luis Bunuel. Setting off on a course to change their world, the three form a bond when they meet at university. But, their friendship becomes strained as Dali and Lorca's relationship develops into an unusual love affair.

A month away from "Little Ashes" theatrical release, MTV has got its hands on two exclusive clips from the indie drama. Though they are each less than a minute long, the two manage to reel in snippets at Robert Pattinson's portrayal of young Salvador Dali as well as Javier Beltran's Federico Garcia Lorca and Matthew McNulty's Luis Bunuel.

The first clip, "Salvador Dali Has a New Look", opens with a scene wherein Lorca and Bunuel discuss how to make a difference in the world. While they are arguing about it, Bunuel spots Dali and his newly cleaned-up look, stating that "The girls will go crazy." Meanwhile, the second clip, "Dali Inspires Lorca's Work", shows that the relationship between Dali and Lorca is developing.

A picture of "Twilight" hunk Robert Pattinson in nothing but his birthday suit has made its round. Displaying the 22-year-old while he stands naked in front of a mirror, the image was posted by Perez Hilton and is taken from his forthcoming indie movie, "Little Ashes", in which the British actor portrays young Salvador Dali.

Previously, Pattinson has shared that he struggled for the naked stuff he was required to do in the movie and even got to "a nervous breakdown" after filming "extremely hard-core sex scene". "I was kind of crossing lines of what I thought I was comfortable doing," he explained as quoted in the April issue of GQ magazine. "I had to do all this naked stuff."

Having to do a sex scene with his male co-star for "Little Ashes", Robert Pattinson admits that he struggled for the open set intimate shots. Revealing the matter in the April issue of GQ magazine, the "Twilight" hottie shares, "I was kind of crossing lines of what I thought I was comfortable doing. I had to do all this naked stuff."

"And here I am, with Javier [Beltran], who plays Lorca, doing an extremely hard-core sex scene, where I have a nervous breakdown afterward," the 22-year-old furthermore recalls the time he has to shoot the raunchy scene, "and because we're both straight, what we were doing seemed kind of ridiculous." He then added, "There's all these gay sex scenes. And y'know, I haven't even done a sex scene with a girl, in my whole career."

The limited release date of "Little Ashes" has been moved. Recent reports exposed that Regent Releasing have recently shifted the U.S. theatrical date of the drama movie, which sees "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson as Salvador Dali, from March 27 to May 8.

With the changes, "Little Ashes" won't be heading into theaters head-to-head with "Adventureland", a comedy movie starring another "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart, and "Monsters vs. Aliens", the Paramount Pictures animation voiced by Reese Witherspoon among others. And, on the new date, it is yet to have any serious competition.

Two fresh clips of "Little Ashes" have been found. Exclusively previewed first by Rotten Tomatoes, the one minute each snippets present a look inside the young life of artist Salvador Dali, filmmaker Luis Bunuel and writer Federico Garcia Lorca. The clips are also give out glimpses of "Twilight" star, Robert Pattinson, being the surrealist painter, Dali.

Set against the backdrop of Fascist Spain in 1922, 18-year-old Dali arrives at university in Madrid. Determined to become a great artist, he soon gets the attention from Residencia de Estudiantes' social elite, poet Lorca and aspiring filmmaker Bunuel. But, their friendship becomes strained as Dali and Lorca get closer to each other. When the two spend the summer at the sea-side village of Cadaques, their friendship becomes something more.

I agre Cielo. The film was fantastic, and I was only disappointed that I had to drive 100 miles to the only cinema in the country that was showing it. The presence of RP would have, I thought, made the cinemas want to show it. Shame, but it was worth the overnight stay in the end. :)

OMFG This was soooo hooot (partly because there was yummy man on man action hehe, yaoi forever :p) i see rob pattison in a whole new way now...He's not just another blockbuster actor who doesnt have anything except the looks...There was really stg interesting with him playing dali...So moving, first time crying over a movie since a few years hehe ^^
