Emma Roberts and Friends Come to the Rescue of Stray Dogs in 'Hotel for Dogs' Clip
January 14, 2009 10:01:19Literally days away from "Hotel for Dogs" theatrical release, Yahoo! Movies has got its hands on an exclusive clip of the DreamWorks family comedy movie. Entitled "Being Rescued", the nearly one and a half minute video previews the scene where 16-year-old Andi, her younger brother Bruce and their friends are in a mission to save stray dogs.
Opening the clip, Andi played by Emma Roberts and Dave portrayed by Johnny Simmons come across two stray dogs, one of them is stuck under a fence. After rescuing the pair, another rescue attempt is taking over the screen. This time, the dog rescue crew sets up a scheme which allows them to release a group of captured stray dogs from a dogcatcher's van. Aside from this newly-released clip, "Hotel for Dogs" has previously let out nine other clips.

'Hotel for Dogs' Welcomes Second Trailer
October 30, 2008 03:10:00DreamWorks family comedy "Hotel for Dogs" has just got a brand new trailer. Focusing on the trouble the kids are in, the video footage presents a different take to the movie from the previous trailer. Instead of telling how the kids find the place for the dogs, this video tells how the kids come out with the idea to save stray dogs by using the old and abandoned hotel building.
When their new foster parents forbid 16-year old Andi and her younger brother Bruce to have a pet, the young orphans have to quickly find a new home for their dog, Friday. One day, they stumble upon an abandoned hotel. Seeing it as a fit place to hide Friday, they transform it into a dog-paradise and also help stray dogs to find a shelter there. However, when the dogs' bark generates suspicion among the neighbors, they now have to figure out way to keep others away from the hotel.

Thor Freudenthal Chased by the "Dogs"
June 21, 2007 03:06:05Granting the guy wider access into directing field, DreamWorks Pictures has assigned visual effects maven Thor Freudenthal to helm its comedic feature "Hotel for Dogs."
Formerly worked as a CG artist on the "Stuart Little" movies, Freudenthal thereby replaces "Agent Cody Banks" helmer Harald Zwart who was originally appointed for the position back in January. It is unclear whether the Norwegian filmmaker's departure has anything to do with his directing stint in "The Pink Panther 2."
