Los Angeles Premiere for 'Ghosts of Girlfriends Past'

Counting down to the theatrical release of "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past", New Line Cinema held a Los Angeles premiere for the upcoming romantic comedy on Monday, April 27. The special screening event took place at the Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood and was attended by many Hollywood celebrities.

Spotted posing on the red carpet for the special event were three of the comedy's major stars, Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner and Michael Douglas. While McConaughey was accompanied by girlfriend Brazilian model Camila Alves, neither Garner nor Douglas was seen arriving with their spouse. Still, Douglas was joined by actor son Cameron Douglas.

Celebrity photographer Connor Mead has it all, success in his work and with women, but when it comes to love, he needs a little help. And the help comes from the ones he least expects, the ghosts of his former girlfriends who help him to figure out what turns him into an insensitive jerk with women and find whether he may still find his true love or it's already too late.

Through the newly-released trailer of "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past", it can be seen how the ghosts bring Connor on an odyssey through his failed relationships-past, present and future. Firstly introducing Connor as a ladies man who doesn't mind of breaking up with multiple women on a conference call, the video footage moves on showing his capability of ruining his brother's wedding and to whom his heart really goes.

Michael Douglas to Star as a Ghost in Upcoming Comedy Project

Earlier, it was reported that the cast of comedy romantic film "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" have five additional members. However, ComingSoon reported there is one more additional cast to be added to the ghostly ensemble, that is the Academy Award-winning actor Michael Douglas.

According to the site, the movie director Mark Walter revealed that the "Basic Instinct" star is also joining Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner to star in the film. At the New York junket of "The Spiderwick Chronicles", Walter exposed that the 63-year-old actor is going to portray, as quoted, "the Marley character, the old ghost who's dead, his Uncle Wayne, a '70s playboy, who was his mentor and he wears Bob Evans shades and guides him around the ghost world."

Former "Party of Five" star Lacey Chabert will be joining the cast of New Line Cinema's romantic comedy "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past". According to Hollywood Reporter, the 25-year-old actress will play Matthew McConaughey's future sister-in-law.

Joining the co-star of Lindsay Lohan in "Mean Girls" are Breckin Meyer, Anne Archer, Amanda Walsh and Emma Stone. Meyer is set to play McConaughey's brother, Archer plays the mother of the bride and Walsh is going to portray the only bridesmaid McConaughey's character hasn't conquered. Additionally, Stone is cast as the supernatural Ghost of Girlfriends Past.

Seems to have every intention to return to the romantic comedy genre, Jennifer Garner reportedly is engaged in talks for a starring slot in "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past", which Matthew McConaughey is set to topline.

A New Line Cinema production, the project focuses on a charming womanizer who gets visited by the apparitions of girlfriends past, present, and future while he is attending his younger brother's wedding. The guy eventually realizes that he is in love with his childhood sweetheart instead.

this movie save my boyfriend and I relationship. It really open his eyes and what he needed to fix in our relationsip. Im so glad this movie came out. it was such a great movie and it made me and my boyfriend cried. Thank you so much.
