The Game Plan Takes Second Turn as Box Office Champ
October 08, 2007 10:10:21Remains strong despite the arrivals of several new titles on Friday, October 5, 2007, family comedy "The Game Plan" wonderfully continues to hold the top position on the weekend box office competition ended Sunday, October 7.
The Walt Disney Pictures release still did great in garnering big bucks into its pocket by collecting $16.6 million, a number that newcomer "The Heartbreak Kid" failed to surpass. The Farrelly brothers-directed only managed to take in a modest income $14 million that was below the expectation of Paramount and DreamWorks Pictures, the studios producing the flick.

Most of the cast members delightfully made their way to gather together for the occasion, joined by director Andy Fickman. Those spotted include male lead Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock, Madison Pettis, Morris Chestnut, Roselyn Sanchez, Kate Nauta, and Kyra Sedgwick, who was accompanied by hubby Kevin Bacon.

"The Game Plan" Is A Postponed Plan
June 21, 2006 01:06:27The involvement of Roselyn Sanchez in the family comedy, "The Game Plan" has to meet temporarily postponement. The hiatus has to take place after the leading role, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, got injured on a football practice as his preparation to play the cast as a professional quarter back in the movie.
Johnson got his Achilles tendon discordant, a common one to occur in the sport game, leaving him with an operation schedule with a world-class orthopedic surgeon Dr. John W. Uribe. The operation itself is set this Friday in Miami. He stated that trainings for pro athletes do "hard and get hurt", a total contrary to what he might have imagined.
