Lajos Koltai is in final talks to take the director seat of the upcoming film "." The screen adaptation of Susan Minot's best-selling novel of the same name is the story of a woman, reflecting back on one weekend in her youth when she met the love of her life, as her two daughters try to come to terms with the mother's impending death while struggling with their own personal issues.

Adapted Minot's book is Minot with the help of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Cunningham. Production on "Evening" is scheduled to begin in June later this year in Rhode Island.
