American Idol's Kevin 'Chicken Little' Covais Strips Down in 'College'
August 30, 2008 09:08:35Making his feature film debut through teenage comedy "College", former "American Idol" finalist Kevin Covais will bare more than just his acting skills. The fifth season contestant who was nicknamed 'Chicken Little' has confessed that he will be seen taking off his clothes in one of the movie's scenes.
"I strip down to my underwear in the movie," the 19-year-old told MTV. He further joked about the appeal of his daring performance suggesting that it should be used for the promotional of the Deb Hagan-directed film. "Seriously, they should put that on the poster," he said. "See me stripped down to my tightie whities - how can people not go?"

'College' Restricted Clip: Picking Up College Chicks
August 07, 2008 04:08:34Following the outing of "College" red band trailer, a brand new restricted clip from the Deb Hagan-directed teenage comedy starring Drake Bell, Kevin Covais and Andrew Caldwell has been released. It displays how Caldwell's character trying hard to hit on two college girls they first meet at the Fieldmont University.
Highlighting on the reaction of the girls and the effort of Caldwell on hiding his high school identity, this less than a minute clip is an elaboration of the footage which has been included in the previously released trailer. The new clip can be seen via Worst Previews.

Revealing more scenes, the new video footage exposes more on the party, humiliation and revenge the three characters experience.
Opened with a scene where Drake Bell's character Kevin Brewer gets dumped by his girlfriend, the compilation of clips moves on showing Kevin's canteen talks with Fletcher, Carter and Morris where Fletcher describes what will happen during the weekend visit to a nearby college. The scene then cut to the moment Kevin, Carter and Morris arrived at Fieldmont University.

April 22, 2008 03:04:39A new teenage comedy film starring "Superhero Movie" star Drake Bell and former American Idol contestant Kevin Covais, "College", has revealed its first official trailer. The nearly two-and-a-half minutes video footage showcases glimpses of the college life experienced by the three high school seniors over the weekend.
Opened with a canteen talk between the three leading characters and one of their friends, the trailer then continues with the footage showing the campus life in Fieldmont University with the background explanation provided by the narrator. Further, the camera follows a white car which the three high school friends use to drive them to the place.

Bell, also known as a singer, is widely noticed for his role in Nickelodeon's sitcom "Drake & Josh" while Covais for being an "American Idol" finalist of the fifth season. As for Caldwell and Bennett, they are last seen on the big screen in "Tenacious D in 'The Pick of Destiny'" and "Music and Lyrics", respectively.

Deb Hagan Enrolls in "College"
December 01, 2006 02:12:22Set to face her feature directorial debut, Deb Hagan has been picked up to helm a comedy flick simply titled "College" for Lionsgate, Element Films and State Street Pictures, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Slated to begin shooting by late January in New Orleans, the project focuses on three high school seniors who commence a wild weekend adventure visiting a nearby college as prospective freshmen. Cast lineup has not yet been revealed, but it is reported that Dan Callahan and Adam Ellison will both work on the screenplay.
