U.K. Trailer of 'Bride Wars' Debuts

An international trailer of "Bride Wars" has been released. Telling the story of two best friends who clash with one another because of one wedding plan mistake, the over two minutes footage opens by revealing how close Liv and Emma are, then it chronicles how the friendship between the two gradually takes turn to the worst it can possibly be.

Best friends since childhood, Liv and Emma are always there for each other supporting one another in good times and bad times. When they get engaged within a few hours of one another, together they plan their weddings which will take place at their dream wedding location, the Plaza Hotel. But, one big mistake will put the friendship to its ultimate test as neither one of them will step aside for the other's happiness.

Anne Hathaway to Play in Bride Wars

Anne Hathaway has agreed to star in the New Regency's new comedy movie, "Bride Wars". In the movie directed by the helmer of "13 Going On 30" and "Charlotte's Web", Gary Winick, the "Becoming Jane" star will play opposite another Hollywood beauty, Kate Hudson.

The romantic comedy movie resolves around best friends, portrayed by Hathaway and Hudson, whose wedding dates mistakenly clashed and simultaneously tested their friendship. As the story continues, the two friends are involved in a bitter war with each other when they compete for venues, caterers and guests.

Kate Hudson Ignites "Bride Wars"

Taking the same path as Kirsten Dunst has done in "A Jealous Ghost", "Almost Famous" star Kate Hudson is about to produce also have a starring role in "Bride Wars", a rom-com flick of New Regency and Firm Films production.

In bringing the project to the surface, duo June Raphael and Casey Wilson are re-writing their own draft originally penned in 2004 for Miramax. The story itself revolves around two best friends who go against one another as both refuse to step aside upon learning that they have a wedding-date clash.
