Three U.S. Flicks Added to the 2007 Berlinale
January 16, 2007 04:01:22Keep filling up the list of titles for the Competition program, the organizers of this year's Berlin international film festival has firmly included three more U.S productions of "Bordertown", "Letters from Iwo Jima", and "The Walker" into the lineup, placing them alongside the previously announced U.S entries of "The Good Shepherd" and "The Good German."
Unlike the Gregory Nava-directed flick, however, the other two will be screened out of competition as "Iwo Jima" has already opened in North America and Japan while "The Walker" is in fact the work of Paul Schrader, the president of the Berlinale jury this year.

The Bordertown Gets a Glimpse of Lopez
October 05, 2005 12:10:51Hundreds of people got into the streets of Nogales, across from Nogales, Ariz.. That was an uncommon scene. What's wrong? Is that something special? What they're doing there?
It's Jennifer Lopez that caused the crowd. The Latin actress was there, accompanied by husband, singer Marc Anthony, filming her recent project "Bordertown." Co-written and directed by Gregory Nava, the film tells a journalist (Lopez) investigates a series of murders near American-owned factories on the border of Juarez and El Paso.
