Another 'Roger Rabbit' Movie Being Thought Of

A sequel to 1988 fantasy comedy "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" could be brewing. Talking to MTV News, director Robert Zemeckis offered an interesting scoop of the matter when he confessed that he is indeed toying with the idea to bring the ill-behaved rabbit back to the big screen.

"I'll tell you what is buzzing around in my head now that we have the ability - the digital tools, performance capture - I'm starting to think about 'Roger Rabbit'," the 56-year-old Academy Award-winning helmer stated. Still when pressed further on the potential film's details, the "Beowulf" director responded with a rejection, "I can't give you more details."

The Paramount Pictures' animation film "Beowulf" starring Angelina Jolie is having a contest entitled "King for a Day". The contest offers daily prizes that include Beowulf Director's Cut Unrated DVD, Portable Sony DVD player, Beowulf the Game for Xbox 360 and an Xbox 360 Gaming System, as well as a grand prize of living like a king for one day with $5,000 to spend.

The contest began at 9:00 A.M. CST on Wednesday, February 20. It will end on Friday, February 29, at 11:59 P.M. CST. The heroic tale presented in motion capture flick "Beowulf" has turned out to successfully draw most attention from moviegoers as expected, so surely it's no wonder to see the movie slay the U.S. Box Office over the weekend running November 16-18, 2007.

The Robert Zemeckis-directed effortlessly scooped up a fantastic $27.5 million, forty percent of which came from special 3-D showings in regular theaters and on IMAX screens, pushing last-week champ "Bee Movie" down one slot to number two. Though so, the CGI animated family fare still did pretty well in the competition as it managed to sell $14 million in ticket sales.

Apparently there's still much more to look at "Beowulf" though its release date is drawing near and its premiere was already held. Being extremely generous, Paramount Pictures has launched not only one but eight new clips from the motion-capture feature, certainly for us to feast our eyes on.

Sure lead us to understand more about the story, all clips obviously carry tons of new footage within while giving longer look on the characters besides the hero, Grendel, and Grendel's mother, voiced by Angelina Jolie.

The legendary hero from the Old English poem finally made his first appearance on the theater's screen exclusively as a number of big Hollywood names celebrated the world premiere for "Beowulf" yesterday, November 5, 2007 in Los Angeles, California.

Most of the star-studded cast members were spotted to turn up for the special occasion with director Robert Zemeckis also present, accompanied by his beloved wife Leslie Harter Zemeckis. Guess who plays the evil temptress in Robert Zemeckis' "Beowulf"? Yes, it's definitely Angelina Jolie. The actress is the latest A-list talent to join the adaptation of the epic medieval tale project, following the other notable actors, such as Anthony Hopkins, John Malkovich, Brendan Gleeson, Robin Wright Penn and Crispin Glover.

In related news, Jolie is about to be in Manhattan to film "The Good Shepherd" which is directed by Robert De Niro and also starred by Matt Damon.
