A new "" movie is getting a big screen treatment. Through the 2000 AD Forums, Rebellion and 2000 AD announced that they are officially planning to materialize the feature film in association with DNA Films, the production company behind "".

In the announcement, it is further unveiled that the film's production will be kicked off sometime in 2009. Still, details on the movie itself are kept under tight wraps. "We can't give away too many details at this point, but we're looking forward to working with DNA Films to bring Judge Dredd back to the big screen," so claimed Jason Kingsley, Rebellion's CEO and Creative Director.

Having a number of movie projects in the pipeline, is adding vodka endorser into his ever growing career resume. The action movie star has signed a one-year contract with Russian vodka producer Synergy to be its new celebrity endorser.

The Vodka producer announced the enlisting of Sylvester to help promote their product in print and TV ads Friday, August 15. He will specifically sell the company's Russian Ice, or Russkiy Liod, line beginning on September 1. He will advertise the product under the slogan: "There is a bit of Russian in all of us."

Having signed a deal with "" producers in early February, is rumored to be planning on bringing his another old character back to the big screen. According to reports, the renowned action man in "Rocky" and "Rambo" is preparing to depict once again Gabe Walker from his 1993's "Cliffhanger" as he is negotiating with Sony Studio executives.

On another character reviving news, it was reported that though the 61-year-old actor has promised to stop remaking "Rambo", he might be going to make another sequel to the film. To British talk show host Jonathan Ross, the former husband of actress Brigitte Nielsen revealed that it is the perfect time to play the character again. "I'd love to go back to Rambo again. You don't get to play that kind of character very often," he said "At first it was stereotyped but now I'm really proud to have done it. It's timely. Ten years ago it wouldn't have been right."

Having two box office movies with "Rocky" and "", reportedly wants to do more action films. According to Hollywood Reporter, the action star has signed a lucrative deal to direct and star in two more action films with his "Rambo" producers Danny Dimbort, Avi Lerner and Trevor Short.

Though it wasn't clear on what film to be made on the deal. Allegedly, several scripts, including sequels to "First Blood" and "Rocky", are being considered for the follow-ups. Further, it was reported that Stallone will also produce the films with Kevin King-Templeton and Lerner, whereas Dimbort, Short and Boaz Davidson to serve as executive producers.
