A music video in support of Steve Rushton's "Emergency", the soundtrack of "", has been premiered. It mainly captures Steve wandering around an abandoned area and performing the song accompanied by a band.

Beside featuring a song from Steve Rushton, "Race to Witch Mountain" also has its music scored by composer Trevor Rabin with the help from orchestrator Gordon Goodwin, producer Paul Linford, mixer Steve Kempster, ProTools recordist Larry Mah and music editor Robbie Boyd. Recorded at the Sony Scoring Stage, the music for the film contains strong brass lines and complex string ostinatos accentuated with electronics and percussion to keep the action flowing.

Australian Oscar-winning actresses and are about to be honored by Australian Postal Service, having their famous faces featured on a postage stamp. Beside them, the country will also bestow actors and with the same honor.

The foursome will be all featured on stamps, to be resealed as part of Australia Day on January 26, in characters and as themselves. Their characters which will be used for the stamps are taken from the films they won Oscars for; Nicole in "Moulin Rouge" (2001), Cate in "Elizabeth" (1998), Geoffrey in "Shine" (1996), and Russell in "Gladiator" (2000).

Rush Extended Tour of 2008 Revealed

As their 2007 tour was being acknowledge as one of the top-grossing tour of the year, is reported to be back on the road to do extended tour in 2008. Following the news, it was reported that details about the 2008 tour have been shared. According to the band's fansite, rushisaband.com, the band will do a 40-cities tour throughout the United States and Canada kicking off April 2008 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

For the part of the tour, the rock band will make rare appearance in locales where they haven't performed in over a decade, including in Austin, Orlando, Jacksonville, New Orleans and Winnipeg. They will also play at new venues in Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia and Seattle. Reportedly, the band will give the complete tour announcement in mid January 2008 and it was said that the details will be made available at www.rush.com.

Speaking on their soon to be released album, singer/bassist Geddy Lee told Billboard.com. "Well, basically nobody was in a big hurry to do another live project, because we've got about 60,000 of them out there. But when we were touring Europe on the last tour, we hadn't been to those countries in 10 years -- some of them 20 years. And there was such an exuberant response from the crowd; it just seemed like a unique opportunity to capture the band in that kind of environment."

Rush Alex Sues Hotel Over Altercation

Alex Zivojinovich of the band Rush, along with son Justin Zivojinovich and daughter-in-law Michelle, filed lawsuit against the Ritz-Carlton, its security director and three sheriff's deputies Thursday in U.S. District Court. The three of them try seeking an unspecified amount of monetary damages for injuries, pain and suffering, mental anguish and the costs of their defense in criminal cases.

As for the beginning of the case, it was all stemming from a New Year's Eve 2003 altercation at the Naples hotel when Justin and his companions agitated hotel security as they got up on a platform when the house band was taking a break at a party to ring in 2004. Soon thereafter, as mentioned in the lawsuit, deputies who responded to a call by hotel security "applied illegal and unjustified force, and such force was excessive," causing Justin "severe discomfort and pain."
