Print publication Hip-Hop Weekly broke the news in the cover story of its latest issue last week that Ross already engaged to Brown and they were set to make public their engagement during the airing of the BET Awards Tuesday, June 24. It, furthermore, claimed that she has left her northern New Jersey home to live with the rap artist in his Miami mansion.

"Trilla" will only be in shelves on March 11 after previously pushed from its December 2007 release schedule. "The Boss" is the second single of the album after "Speedin'" that receives production from J.R. Rotem and T-Pain as featured guest.

The rapper, with Gil Green (DJ Khaled's 'We Takin' Over') as the director, shot the clip for 'Speedin'' that features vocal guest from R. Kelly.
'Trilla' is a reference to the album by Michael Jackson, 'Thriller' because Ross wants his album to be as "intense" as the 1982 album. Other collaborators in the album are Jay-Z, Trick Daddy, Akon, T-Pain and Lil Wayne. It will be dropped on February 19 via Slip-N-Slide Records.

Allhiphop.com has announced that Rick Ross' second Def Jam album 'Trilla' will be dropped November 11 instead of the initial August 28. On the other hand title track that is pulled as the lead single hasn't found its official release date although it has leaked online since July 2007.
'Trilla' is the follow up of the rapper's debut album 'Port of Miami' that peaked at #1 in Billboard's Hot 200 chart. The second effort is helmed by numerous notable producers such as Cool and Dre, DJ Khaled, Kanye West, Lil Jon, Scott Storch and The Neptunes.

Rap quartet Boyz N Da Hood is back without Young Jeezy in new album. The sophomore effort which is titled "Back Up N Da Chevy" will be dropped August 7 via Bad Boy/ Atlantic Records.
Appearing in this album are Ice Cube who contributes his voice in song "Choppas" and Rick Ross who gives assistance in two tracks "Paper" and "Table Dance". Fellow Bad Boy artist Yung Joc is also featured on two songs "We Ready" and "Nothing is Promised".

Hip-hop crooners Busta Rhymes, Young Jeezy and Eve have joined forces to appear in front of 3,000 volunteers next month. The threesome will be joined by Lil Wayne and Rick Ross to give the volunteers a treat after their goodwill.
The concert will be conducted at Fox Theatre, Atlanta, GA on June 9. The 3,000 volunteers are local youth who join the volunteerism movement called Boost Mobile RockCorps. They were handed with tickets to the exclusive concert after serving 4 hours of community service.

Radio personality DJ Khaled has set the release date for album "We the Best". The sophomore album will hit the stores by June 12 via Terror Squad/KOCH Records.
Khaled as usual involves many of his artist friends in the making of this record. In the first single "We Takin' Over" alone, there are T.I., Akon, Fat Joe, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and the rapper Baby to back it. Christina Aguilera always does something in the biggest way possible. And marks her comeback to the music scene the pop singer really is serious about it which is apparent through her latest album "Back to Basics" which according to Nielsen SoundScan sold 342,000 copies in the week ended Sunday August 20th, such amount that bring the set to the very top position of album chart.
What's more "Back to Basics" also scores abroad, opened at number one in the U.K., Canada, Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Ireland, among others. Lyfe Jennings' "The Phoenix", in the meantime, sold more than 135,000 copies to secure the 2nd spot and then followed by Trace Adkins' "Dangerous Man" at No.3 with 115,000 copies. Meanwhile, Cherish is at the 4th spot with their album "Unappreciated" sold 91,000 copies.
