August 28, 2008 02:08:48Plain White T's have just dropped their music video to help promoting the band's first single "Natural Disaster". The song will appear in their fifth studio effort "Big Bad World", which is set for release on September 23 under Hollywood Records.
The music video shows the group singing in a club with some captures of several couples, filling their romantic night with hugging, cuddling, and kissing. As the video goes on, one by one, the band's members find beautiful girls and then they start enjoying the night with their dates.
Plain White T's to Premiere 'Natural Disaster' Music Video
August 26, 2008 04:08:32Pop rock band Plain White T's have just finished shooting a music video for their first single called "Natural Disaster". The video will make its world premiere on their MySpace page this Wednesday on August 27.
The music video is scheduled as a medium to promote their fifth studio set "Big Bad World", which will be released on September 23. The album carries ten tracks which were recorded in both Malibu and Chicago, and produced by Johnny K.
First Episode of Plain White T's 'Meet Me in California'
August 07, 2008 04:08:50In anticipation of their fifth studio album's release, Plain White T's will release a series of webisodes entitled "Meet Me in California", a name derived from the title of one of the album's tracks. The first out of planned 12 episodes has been released earlier this week through ABC Family.
The series are directed by Mike Venezia who also helmed the fivesome on their video for "Making a Memory" and live concert DVD. The first episode that runs for almost five minutes, chronicles the band during stage performance and in a Malibu studio recording for the album which will be titled "Big Bad World".

Beside dropping their new single, to promote their upcoming record the group also launched another project which is premiering 12 webisode series titled "Meet Me In California". The new project will be providing fans with footages of the process of the band's making the album such as, the creative process of the album's work, interviews, photo shoots and many more.

The clip of 'Our Time Now' previously appeared as part of the band's involvement in TV series 'Greek'. All of the members were performing in the episode called 'The Rusty Nails' that will air early 2008.

In what seemingly a favorite track to cover, Rihanna's 'Umbrella' has been remade in Plain White T's version. The pop rock band that shot to fame through 'Hey There Delilah' recently covered the full version of the arguably biggest hit this year.
R&B song 'Umbrella' has been covered by many musicians often not in the same genre. Up and coming singer Marie Digby posted her acoustic version on YouTube and received praise while Mandy Moore's ballad version also gained high airplay.

Done tickling fans with the mystery of 'Delilah', Plain White T's is set to release the next single from 'Every Second Counts', their fourth studio album that already gone Gold. 'Our Time Now' will be pulled out as a single and showcased on Tonight Show with Jay Leno on October 10.
'Our Time Now' will be made ESPN's theme song for their college football coverage segment. The same song will also be utilized as the theme song of ABC Family's TV series 'Greek' in its second season that will air early 2008. The band will tape their part for the first episode on September 26 in Los Angeles.

"Umbrella", written by Terius Nash and rapper Jay-Z for Rihanna's third studio album "Good Girl Gone Bad", already the chart's greatest gainer at radio with the LP itself debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 by June 13th.

Alternative rock band Angels & Airwaves dominated the 2006 mtvU Woodie Awards, held Wednesday Oct 25th at New York's Roseland Ballroom. The band, formed by former Blink-182 star Tom DeLonge, claimed the event's top prize the Woodie of The Year (Artist of the Year) award.
Also won an honor during the award show, held to honor US college students' favorite emerging artists and music, was Plain White T's who brought home The Breaking Woodie (Best Emerging Artist) award, and Gnarls Barkley who nabbed the Left Field Woodie (Most Original Artist) award.
