Soccer stud David Beckham nabs the Choice Male Athlete prize, beating some other nominees, including Kobe Bryant, Roger Federer, Michael Phelps, and Tiger Woods.
On the female side, artistic gymnast Shawn Johnson is named the winner. She beats Nastia Liukin, Danica Patrick, Kerri Walsh, Misty May-Treanor, and Serena Williams, all of whom vie for the predicate of Choice Athlete: Female.

Big names are lending their voices for Walt Disney Pictures' comedy "South of the Border." The Hollywood Reporter has brought in news stating that a handful of Latino actors consisting of Andy Garcia, Salma Hayek, George Lopez, Cheech Marin, Paul Rodriguez, Placido Domingo, Edward James Olmos, and Eddie Sotelo have all been submitted into the film's voice cast with "Lucky You" star Drew Barrymore leading the lineup.
Also starring Piper Perabo in human role, the flick follows the adventures of a pampered Beverly Hills chihuahua named Chloe as she gets lost during a vacation in Mexico and is in need of assistance from her friends to find way back home. Perabo will play Chloe's owner while the dog's voice will be provided by Barrymore.
Paul Rodriguez $1M Forgery Lawsuit
February 15, 2005 11:02:16Comedian Paul Rodriguez sues his ex-manager, Scott Montoya and his company, Payaso Entertainment, for forgering his signature to gain ownership of the film "The Latin Kings of Comedy" and struck a deal with major studio, Paramount Pictures to distribute the film after their 2001 agreement to split profits from the movie.
In the Superior Court lawsuit he filed on February 10, 2005, Rodriguez demanded $1million compensation for the forgery.
