'The Soloist' Went to L.A. for Premiere
April 21, 2009 01:04:01A week short of its theatrical debut, "The Soloist" has gone to Los Angeles for a premiere. The special screening event took place Monday, April 20 at Paramount Theatre in Hollywood and was attended by many Hollywood stars as well as the two people whose story is being picked up in the movie, Nathaniel Ayers and Los Angeles Times columnist Steve Lopez.
Also seen walking down the red carpet on the occasion were most of the film's cast. They included leading men, Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr., and cast members, Catherine Keener, Kirsten Lea, Lisa Gay Hamilton, Nelsan Ellis, Justin Martin and Stephen Root. Writer Susannah Grant, music technical consultant Ben Hong and producer Russ Krasnoff were present as well.
'True Blood' Cast Speak of Second Season
February 06, 2009 04:02:31It is at least another 4 months before "True Blood" begins sucking viewers with its second season, and some the cast are coming out to give an update. E! Online, has been trying to dig clues on the answers to the questions that leave the first season hanging. One of the things is whether Lafayette really dies.
It was seen in the very last scene of "True Blood" season one that a foot, very much like Lafayette's, is lifeless in the back seat of Detective Bellefleur's car. To this, Nelsan Ellis who portrays Lafayette, plays it coy saying "They have to wait and see," when asked whether or not it was the end of the character's fate.
