Monthly men's magazine GQ has made public its list of the Most Stylish Men and surprisingly it includes a few surprises.
Among the notable figures in the entertainment industry make the magazine's list of 50 Most Stylish Men in the Past 50 Years are the Academy Award nominated Italian film actor Marcello Mastroianni, musicians David Bowie and Bob Dylan, and actors Steve McQueen and George Clooney.

Planting his nails deeper into show business, Don Cheadle has come up with five big screen projects that he is about to produce and star in. All of them will be set up at Crescendo Productions, the company in which he partners with longtime managers Kay Liberman and Lenore Zerman.
Among the five, there will be a biopic of famed musician Miles Davis which Cheadle is eyeing as his feature directorial debut. Liberman and Zerman both claimed they have secured music and life rights to the jazz legend with writing duo Stephen J. Rivele and Chris Wilkinson working on the script.

All things have been settled for now to bring the life of jazz legend Miles Davis onscreen. TMZ has delightfully reported that Don Cheadle is finally on board the project not only as the star but also as the director with Cary Brokaw financing it independently.
In the meantime, the film's screenplay will be entrusted to the hands of duo Chris Wilkinson and Steve Rivele, the Oscar-nominated writers known for their works in other biopics like "Nixon" and "Ali."

Miles Davis, one of the most influential and innovative musicians of the 20th century, was inducted into Hollywood's RockWalk on Thursday September 28th.
Davis family members, including his son, Erin, and daughter, Cheryl were among the event's attendances.

Surely 2006 will be such an unforgettable year for Sex Pistols for the band becomes one of the inductees of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with the likes of Black Sabbath, Blondie, Miles Davis, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. All of them will officially take the honor in the foundation's Twenty-First Annual Induction Ceremony slated to be held on Monday, March 13, 2006 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. In the Non-Performer category comes the name of Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss who both are the founder of A&M records which was established in 1962 and so will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The inductees of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are chosen by the foundation's nominating committee which consists of rock and roll historians. Artists become eligible for induction 25 years after the release of their first record.

All of them will be feted at the Rock Hall's 21st annual induction ceremony to be held at New York's famed Waldorf Astoria Hotel on March 13 next year. Joining them in the Class of 2006 are jazz legend Miles Davis and New Wave group Blondie. Meanwhile, trumpeter Herb Alpert and business partner Jerry Moss, founders of A&M Records, will be inducted as Non-performers.
