All About Fast Food Nation
December 20, 2005 01:12:17Peter Rice, the president of Fox Searchlight Pictures, has outed statement announced that the studio has acquired North American distribution rights to "Fast Food Nation." Based on Eric Schlosser's nonfiction best-seller of the same title, the film is about to be directed by Richard Linklater.
Of thriller genre, "Fast Food Nation" tells the story of an ensemble piece examining the health risks involved in the fast food industry and its environmental and social consequences as well. With its principal photography has just completed, the flick is slated for a 2006 release date.
Stars Joining Vince Vaughn in New Comedy
December 05, 2005 11:12:39After his long-spoken film with Jennifer Aniston "Derailed," Vince Vaughn will next be seen in writer/director David O. Russell's untitled comedy. He is set to play Hume Stevens, the wise host of a radio call-in show, whose life gets turned upside down when he starts becoming his callers.
Joining him to star in is Elizabeth Banks and Luis Guzman. Production of the film will begin early January next year with filming in Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
