Script for 'Dragonball Evolution' Sequel Said to Have Been Written
February 19, 2009 10:02:57While "Dragonball Evolution" won't be opened in theaters until April 8, sequel talk has come up to the surface. In an interview with SciFiNow last month, leading man Justin Chatwin spilled the bean on the potential follow-up of this manga adaptation, hinting further that the script has even been written down.
"If there were to be a sequel I think it...well, I know that it would go to a really interesting place, because they already have the second script written," claimed the 26-year-old. Revealing further on the direction of the sequel, which is tentatively reported to be titled "Dragonball Reborn", he stated, "The second one goes more into the whole legacy and the genealogy of Dragonball. It goes more in-depth into a real Dragonball series, the kind of intergalactic world of Dragonball."
Three New 'Dragonball' Pics Bring in More Action
November 19, 2008 09:11:07Another series of "Dragonball Evolution" pictures have made their way out via Dragonball the Movie. Focusing on four characters from the live-action adaptation film, the photos display Jamie Chung's Chi Chi, Eriko Tamura's Mai, Justin Chatwin's Goku and James Marsters' Lord Piccolo.
One of the images shows Chi Chi pointing out what seems to be a gun to someone before the camera lens, while another one exposes Mai in position to throw her shuriken. The other photo presents Goku and Piccolo in a battle where Goku bends his body backward to avoid a punch from the evil villain.
New Poster and Trailer Screenshots of 'Dragonball' Leaked
September 03, 2008 12:09:00The trailer of live-action Japanese manga adaptation, "Dragonball Evolution", won't be coming out until October 17, but apparently fans do not wait any longer to get a slightest idea about the promotional footage as the so-called screenshots from the trailer have been outed. The revealing stills are coming out along with newfound poster highlighting on Emmy Rossum's Bulma.
The images cut out from the trailer showcase Justin Chatwin as Goku in action as well as in training with his master Roshi. Two of them also revealed for the first time the evil villain Lord Piccolo as portrayed by James Marsters. Most of the screenshots came in courtesy of Nerdorama, while the poster and one still in particular were brought forward by Dragonball The Movie.
