Judy Reyes and Boyfriend Welcome First Child, Rep Confirms
December 04, 2009 10:12:28A baby girl has been born for Judy Reyes and her director boyfriend George Valencia. Per People, the actress gave birth to the bundle of joy at 7:11 P.M. on Friday, November 27. She weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz and was 19 inches long at time of birth. Judy and George name her Leila Rey Valencia.
Leila is the first child for both Judy and George. "Lelia is absolutely beautiful. Both mom and baby are very happy," Reyes' representative Patrick McCarthy tells Life and Style.
2009 ALMA Awards Honorees in TV

National Council of La Raza's CEO Janet Murguira announced on Tuesday, August 25 with the assistance of Executive Producer Eva Longoria, the names of people crowding the honorees list.
The category in TV is divided into two according to the show's genre, comedy and drama. Showing a domination in the former category is the cast ensemble of "Ugly Betty". Meanwhile in drama, "Lost" and "Dexter" each brought in three of their actors.
Pregnant Judy Reyes Confirms Sex of Forthcoming Baby

"My twin sister and my younger sister have boys, and they had strong hopes to have boys because we're a family of all girls. My nieces who are 20 and 22 are girls. Everyone was praying for boys and I just had a feeling that it was a girl, and it is!" so she said while attending the launch party of Nicole Richie's new maternity line "Nicole".
Judy, furthermore, revealed that she is feeling "wonderful" and enjoying a complication-free pregnancy now that she is in her third trimester. She was then quoted as elaborating, "I had a little morning sickness in the first trimester but other than that I'm enjoying it."
'Scrubs' Actress Judy Reyes Pregnant With First Child
June 23, 2009 01:06:29Small screen actress Judy Reyes is pregnant with her boyfriend George Valencia's baby. She reportedly is four months along and is expected to deliver the infant November later this year. It is not known though if the pair has found out the sex of their upcoming child.
Judy previously was married to writer director Edwin M. Figueroa. Soon following their divorce, she began dating George, who works as director and filmmaker. The baby she is carrying will be the first for both of them.
Winners of 2008 ALMA Awards in TV Categories

ABC's comedy series "Ugly Betty" was a big winner in the TV categories, winning the awards for directing and best performance by a Latino-led ensemble cast. Its star America Ferrera as well took home one additional award which was for the category of Chevy Entertainer of the Year for her on-screen work as Betty Suarez and her off-screen efforts in encouraging young people to get involved in the political process.
TV actress Eva Longoria had her hands full during the awards show, serving both as its executive producer as well as host. She was seen on Friday, August 15 attending an early celebration to mark the coming of the annual awards show held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, Calif. Her basketball player husband Tony Parker was with her.

Choosing the players for the game, filmmakers of "The Poker Club" have picked up the likes of Jonathon Schaech, Johnny Messner, Loren Dean, Michael Risley, Lori Heuring, Judy Reyes, and Jana Kramer to all star in the project, Variety has revealed.
A suspense thriller, pic is based on the Ed Gorman novel which centers on four friends who accidentally kill a burglar during their weekly poker night. Their lives are then changed by the difficult choices they subsequently make.
