The "Twilight" star has been captured transforming her Bella look into being '70s rocker Joan by sporting a jet black hairdo.
In the biopic, 19-year-old Stewart has been set to carry out the role of Joan, who is the singer and guitarist of the 1970s all-girl rockband named The Runaways. She will be sharing screen with Dakota Fanning who will play Cherie Currie, Stella Maeve who is touted to star as Sandy West, and Alessandra Torresani who will portray Lita Ford.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 18-year-old has landed a part in the rock 'n' roll biopic of the 1970s all-girl band, portraying rock guitarist/singer Joan Jett.
Since Stewart still has commitments with two "Twilight" sequels, including "New Moon", it is said that the production of "Runaways" which is aimed for 2009 start will work a schedule around them. Beside taking the role of Jett, THR also reported that the "Into the Wild" actress will reprise her role as Bella in "New Moon", which is expected to shoot sometime in first-quarter 2009.
