'Lie to Me' Brings Back Mekhi Phifer and Jennifer Beals
July 06, 2009 11:07:34Continuing to show confidence, FOX's new series "Lie to Me" will bring back the guests. Mekhi Phifer who appeared in the last two episodes of season 1 will show his face one more time as FBI agent Ben Reynolds. Jennifer Beals, meanwhile, is also back on duty as Assistant U.S. Attorney Zoe Landau.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Phifer is going to be a series regular but Beals in the meantime is still attached to the recurring status. The second season of the crime drama series begins on Monday, September 28 after the sixth season premiere of "House M.D.".
Jennifer Beals Sued for Breach of Contract
November 29, 2005 03:11:48Former business manager of actress Jennifer Beals sued the star for breach of contract, claiming she has failed to pay commission on the second and upcoming third season of her Showtime series, "The L Word."
In the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Seven Summits Pictures and Management claimed to have already helped the actress get her role on the series and thus deserved for 10 percent commission from subsequent seasons.
Jennifer Beals Has Baby Girl
November 19, 2005 01:11:43Hollywood famous actress Jennifer Beals and her husband, Ken L. Dixon, happily welcome a baby girl last month, People magazine reported Friday. It is Beals' first child, but this isn't the first for Ken who has had two children from a previous marriage.
Details on the baby's exact birthdate, name, and weight, remain undisclosed. Though, "The family is very happy and Jennifer and the baby are doing great," Beals' publicist told the magazine.

A representative for the actress has, in addition, confirmed to People magazine that the 41-year-old actress is expecting her first child in November.
