Should creator Eric Kripke decide to bring back John Winchester down to earth on "", the actor portraying the character is ready to get in action. , in his chat with Movie Web, said that he really wants to come back for at least one episode before the show ends for good this season.

"I don't know? I just read somewhere that Kripke wants me back. That guy, I think he's probably lying, but if it is in fact the last year, I'd like to come back," he states. "If it really is going to be canceled after this year then I'd like to come back. I've been saying for the last four years that that storyline got cut out too soon.
