Girls Aloud's 'Untouchable' Music Video Emerges
March 27, 2009 11:03:50Girls Aloud have premiered a music video to support their single "Untouchable". In the futuristic video inspired by Stanley Kubrick's 1968 classic science fiction film "2001: A Space Odyssey", they are captured dressing in "sci-fi inspired PVC leotards" and traveling through space.
As the video moves, a tag read "Alert: Condition Red" appears and Girls Aloud are seen having issues with their bubble-like orbs. The video ends with televisions on Earth showing a breaking news as the five-piece group's spaceship hits the ground which results in a huge blast.

Lady GaGa took the stage with electronic dance music duo Pet Shop Boys. Also joined by The Killers' vocalist Brandon Flowers, they did a medley by performing several songs, one of which was Dusty Springfield's 1989 single "Nothing Has Been Proved", and compiled them into a single piece of music.

Girls Aloud Slam Down Split Rumor With New Record Deal

"It is true that the five girls will be doing various bits and pieces on their own outside of Girls Aloud this year," they wrote.

Kimberley Walsh Struggling to Manage Girls Aloud

Recalling the time he left them, she told The Daily Star, "Louis didn't speak to us for the first two weeks we were a band. We tried to create a relationship with him but he didn't respond."
"We worked solely with the record company and basically managed ourselves," Kimberley explained further. "For the first couple of years it was hard as my phone would be ringing constantly so I found myself totally out of my depth and needed someone to take over."
