Video Premieres: G-Unit's 'Close to Me' and 'Get Down'
August 14, 2008 09:08:31Rap group G-Unit have premiered two official music videos for singles "Close to Me" and "Get Down". The two singles are listed in their latest studio album entitled "T.O.S.: Terminate on Sight".
The title of the album was originally announced to be "Shoot to Kill" and then changed to "Lock & Load". The album was originally scheduled to be released on June 24, 2008. However, it was not out until early July.
Apologizing to 50 Cent, Young Buck to Reunite With G-Unit?
June 18, 2008 02:06:25It looks like Young Buck feud with his former group G-Unit is about to end and there is even possibilities that Buck could reunite with 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo on the rap group. That news surfaced after two audio clips of Buck's apologizing to 50 by the phone streamed on June 17.
On the first audio clip, that was posted by Hot 97 personality, Miss Info, Buck was heard pleading to 50 and stating that he never considered himself leaving the group. "I done said things and I'm aware of some of the things that I have said but I don't want you to feel like I'm a Game or Smurf or none of them niggas man. Even if you did the worst to me there is nothing I could ever say to you. But I've never dismembered myself from the family or nothing because I always felt like at the end of the day, 50 is gonna love me for what I'm creating as far as me creating my own. I' m just trying to make you happy as far as dealing with my own label," Buck said.
Video Premiere: G-Unit's 'Rider Part 2'
May 29, 2008 04:05:28Rap group G-Unit have just premiered a new music video for their single "Rider Part 2" on May 28 . The clip was the follow up for their first clip "I Like The Way She Do It", that has just been outed on May 12.
The new clip only features the three remaining members of the group, 50 Cent, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks. The video at first actually also sees another rapper, Young Buck, but for some reasons Buck's involvements on the clip and on other G-Unit's songs have been excluded by the group.

The single itself was taken from the group's upcoming album "Terminate on Sight" which is set to drop on July 1. The song is also being set as the first single of the new album.
Lil Wayne Skips G-Unit, Picks Keyshia Cole for Tour
May 06, 2008 10:05:48With the release date for his new album "Tha Carter III" coming closer (June 10), Lil Wayne already prepared a tour to promote it. The rapper has already been thinking of artists he will take to join him on tour and Keyshia Cole is on top of the list.
Wayne told MTV about his plan to collaborate with Keyshia on stage saying, "I think I might go out with Keyshia Cole. You're bringing two different types of people in there." Adding his reason to pick Keyshia, he explained, "You got people coming to soothe their souls with Keyshia, and you got people who wanna throw their hands up with me. It's like listening to the radio. I think a concert should be like listening to the radio. When you listen to the radio, and your top-five or top-eight songs come on, it's hip-hop, it's R&B ... I think you gonna get that from me and Keyshia and whatever in between that."
Both The Game and G-Unit's Albums Pushed Back
April 25, 2008 11:04:52It was reported that The Game's new album "L.A.X" was about to be pushed by 50 Cent to avoid the same release date with G-Unit's new album. Now it turned out that not just Game's album which is being pushed back but the Unit's "Terminate on Sight" will also face the same thing.
Both artists' label Interscope has decided to hold back the release date for the albums "L.A.X" is now scheduled for release on July 8, while "Terminate on Sight" will hit the stores on July 1. Game has confirmed the new release date for his upcoming album saying, "I will drop my album on July 8 in order to clean up the mess 50 made with his new release on July 1. I thank all my fans for their support on the new single 'Pain' featuring Keyshia Cole."
50 Cent Has Ventured Into the World of Publishing

50 Cent has turned his attention into the literary world. The rapper attended a book signing at New York's Borders bookstore Thursday January 4th to mark the launch of a series of fictional books, based on former members of his group G-Unit, he has co-written.
The titles already been released include "Death Before Dishonor", "Baby Brother" and "The Ski Mask Way". The first three novellas to be published in collaboration with MTV and Pocket Books are said to represent merely the beginning of Fiddy's story.

Though, 50 Cent seemingly not take all of that too seriously. Despite the many protests and critics, he keeps movin on, looks like none and nothing can block his way to move forward.
From now on, reports mention that the rapper is about to, again, turn his reality into fiction. This time it will be in form of hip-hop novellas and graphic novels featuring his former G-Unit rap crew buddies. The book, in fact, is a venture with MTV/Pocket Books, publisher of his memoir "From Pieces to Weight."
Banks & Buck; Another Crime
August 10, 2005 02:08:15Two rappers belong to 50 Cent's G-Unit, namely Lloyd Banks and Young Buck, were released without bail August 9, 2005 following their arrest on felony gun possession charges after a concert in Manhattan. Both suspects were, at first, riding in a van with 10 other men that allegedly ran a red light at about 11:30 p.m. the night before near the corner of West 41st Street and Eighth Avenue.
Further, police explained one of the 12 men was carrying a loaded handgun and another weapon was found on the floor of the van. And so, all of them were charged with gun possession.
