Comic Con 2009: Elizabeth Mitchell Talks Juliet's Fate on 'Lost'
July 24, 2009 11:07:22While attending the 2009 San Diego Comic Con as part of "Wonder Women: Female Power Icons in Pop Culture" segment on Thursday, July 23, Elizabeth Mitchell spared a time to talk about her show "Lost". Asked by the moderator whether her character Juliet will be back for the sixth season or not, the actress wouldn't give a definite answer but to say that it was "the cliffhanger".
"It really depends," Mitchell began. "I was talking to [producers] Damon [Lindeloff] and Carlton [Cuse], and they [told me], the best thing to say [here] is [that a return] depends on whether Jack's plan [to prevent the crash from ever happening] works or not." Her statement generated laughters from the audience.
'Lost' Wins 4 Saturn Awards
June 25, 2008 11:06:34ABC's TV drama series "Lost" was a big winner at the 34th annual Saturn Awards Tuesday, June 24. It won a total of four awards from the seven nominations it nabbed. Besides winning the Best Network Television Series category, the series also won its actor Matthew Fox the Best Actor on Television award. The rest two awards it won were Supporting Actor on Television for Michael Emerson and Supporting Actress on Television for Elizabeth Mitchell.
Jennifer Love Hewitt was the other award winner. The actress bested the likes of Anna Friel ("Pushing Daisies"), Lena Headey ("Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles"), Holly Hunter ("Saving Grace"), Evangeline Lilly ("Lost"), and Kyra Sedgwick ("The Closer"), winning the award for Best Actress on Television.
'Lost' Leads 34th Annual Saturn Awards TV Nominations with 7 Nods
February 21, 2008 01:02:25The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films has announced the nominations for the 34th Annual Saturn Awards. While the Greek epic "300" was the leading nominee in the film categories with 10 nods, drama TV series "Lost" was the leading nominee in the TV categories, nabbed 7 nominations all at once.
The nominations that "Lost" earned were Best Network Television Series, Best Actor on Television, Best Actress on Television, Best Supporting Actor on a Television, and Best Supporting Actress on a Television.
