did not leave a good first impression on their reunion tour on Wednesday, March 26. The rock band who reformed in 2007 to release the album "", got off an awkward start in New Zealand when a string of mishaps occurred on stage.

Reports said that vocalist Simon Le Bon forgot the lyrics of "Hungry Like the Wolf" which is one of their biggest hits. The vocalist however, managed to pull it through and according to Herald, the audience did not seem to mind.

Having seen a number of other famous music figures, including the likes of , , Ghostland Observatory, Hot Chip, , and Jamie T, place their own personal design around Playboy's famous Rabbit Head, T.I. has his limited edition Rock the Rabbit custom designed T-shirts emblazoned with the words "T.I. vs. T.I.P." with the famous bunny logo and a crown are used as the dots on the "I"s. "T.I. vs. T.I.P." actually is directed from the title of T.I.'s latest effort of the same name.

The rumor that has written a song for his ex, , was partly confirmed by 's drummer Roger Taylor. The band's song 'Falling Down' that was written by Timberlake is said to be "loosely based on" Britney's fall.

"I suppose it's loosely based on her, but not only on one celebrity - just celebrity culture in general," Taylor said. "A lot of young celebrities seem to disappear into rehab. So it's kind of like, what could be happening in your wildest dream in that rehab center?"

Rock band that is stepping with R&B icons for their twelfth set has named the highly anticipated album. The record that took three years to complete will be named "" after a track in it.

Besides working with Timbaland, the band also worked with the producer's protege Nate "Danja" Hills who is putting final touches to the album. One of the tracks will be -featuring called "Night Runner". It was reported to be the first single released from the album.

A statement on the group's Website said, "As of last weekend, however, the four of us have dissolved our partnership and will be continuing as Duran Duran without Andy, as we have reached a point in our relationship with him where there is an unworkable gulf between us and we can no longer effectively function together. Although obviously disappointed and saddened about this, we are excited about the next chapter of the Duran Duran story and look forward to seeing you all soon."

British band manages to become the first major musical act to create its own virtual universe inside Second Life, an online 3D digital world, which is imagined, created and owned by the residents. Their going virtual was first announced Monday August 7th on the band's Website.

There are more than 370,000 people have Second Life characters, called Avatars, who exist in the world. Once you create your avatar (your online persona) on the privately owned, partly subscription-based site, you can own land, start a business, go to a dance club and, of course, meet others just like you.

Q magazine has recently conducted a poll on the Worst Albums of All Time. Involving almost 2000 people, including professional guitarists and music teachers, 's 1995 album "Thank You" comes on the very top position of the poll.

The set, a collection of covers featuring songs by artists who have influenced Duran Duran throughout the years, was claimed as "abysmal on every level". That's according to Gareth Grundy, Deputy Director of Q, who commented "Sometimes these things are redeemed by some sort of kitsch value, but it didn't even have that".

Duran Duran Members to Launch Compilation

In their effort to pay tribute to the musical influences that helped to define their band, , two founders of the group, keyboardist Nick Rhodes and bassist John Taylor are going to release a compilation on May 1 in the United Kingdom. Entitled "Only After Dark" and planned to be launched under EMI records, this piece of work will feature 18 tracks of the glam rock, post-punk and electronic music that played important parts in developing Duran Duran's early sound.

In the meantime, the album's art will combine the images from photographer Paul Edmond's "Duran Duran Unseen" which chronicles the band's 1979-1982 Birmingham scene.

The new set is originally taken from their 2004 concert at Wembley Arena in London. It consists of their greatest songs, like "Hungry Like the Wolf" and "Planet Earth." Anyway, it's glad to hear that their coming back is complete with the DVD.

British rock act confirms its coming back for their fanatics as they will begin a series of songwriting sessions this August through to mid-December, before finally hits the studio in January. Working on the project, which is said as a follow-up to its 2004 comeback album "Astronaut," the band has already appointed Dallas Austin as one of the producers they are going to work with. Unsettled plans set the fruit of the work to be released on early summer 2006.

Reunited British rock act Duran Duran has confirmed a summer North American tour, beginning July 15 in Nashville and running through August 3 in Virginia Beach, Va. The tour will play a mix of outdoor amphitheaters and smaller venues, such as Indianapolis' Murat Theatre and Dayton and Ohio's Fraze Pavilion.

To open the gig, Duran Duran will spend the first half of the summer on tour in Europe, beginning May 20 in Barcelona. To notice, here are Duran Duran's North American tour dates: July 15: Nashville (Starwood Amphitheater); 18: Orlando, Fla. (Orange County Convention Center); 19: Atlanta (Chastain Park); and July 20: Charlotte, N.C. (Verizon Wireless Amphitheater).
