November 10, 2009 10:11:42The personnel of Cobra Starship appear as Cobra Cleaning Crew in "Hot Mess" music video. They raid the town, looking for hungover girls and then taking the partied-out girls to their car.
"The problem with 'Good Girls Go Bad' - and this is why it really didn't let us go to the next level - is that we didn't have matching outfits," frontman Gabe Saporta told MTV when explaining about the video shoot compared to the previous one which saw them sharing screen with Leighton Meester. "This video, we really thought about it. We said, 'Hey, we're going to have matching outfits! We're gonna take it to the next level.' We're gonna top 'Good Girls Go Bad'."
Cobra Starship, Leighton Meester Make a Duet for MTV VMAs Promo Ad
August 14, 2009 03:08:06After sharing screen in "Good Girls Go Bad" music video, Cobra Starship and Leighton Meester are once again paired up, this time for the promo ad of 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. In the video, they are seen reenacting West Side Story's musical number "Tonight".
The commercial advertisement was filmed at Transit Museum in Brooklyn and made use of a vintage New York City subway car. The dance moves performed by the band and the "Gossip Girl" star were choreographed by Wade Robson.
Nominations of 2009 MTV VMAs, Beyonce and Lady GaGa Lead the Pack
August 05, 2009 09:08:33Nomination recipients for the 26th Annual MTV Video Music Awards have been announced on August 4. And, it was revealed that both Beyonce Knowles and Lady GaGa have dominated the list with nine nods.
Out of the nine nominations Beyonce and Lady GaGa received, eight of them have the two female singers facing off against each other. Beyonce competes against Lady GaGa in such categories as Video of the Year, Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, Best Direction, Best Editing, Best Special Effects, Best Cinematography and Art Direction.

June 30, 2009 11:06:08A music video aimed to promote Cobra Starship's new single called "Good Girls Go Bad" has been debuted via MTV with their collaborator Leighton Meester making a guest-star appearance. In this video, the "Gossip Girl" star plays an undercover agent, and the band portray the owners of a speakeasy where people have to order the right sandwich to get in.
As the party inside the club is started and gets wilder, police raid the venue and arrest all of the band's members. While they are handcuffed and forced to stand against the wall, Leighton is captured walking away with a smiling face.
Cobra Starship's 'Good Girls Go Bad' Music Video Sneak Peek

From the sneak peek, it is disclosed that they bring in their collaborator in the song, Leighton Meester, as a guest star for the video.
According to MTV, the concept of the video is the "Gossip Girl" star runs a speakeasy where people have to order the right sandwich to get in. Meanwhile, the band are in charge of the above-ground deli that acts as a front operation to hide the debauchery within.
Video Premiere: Cobra Starship's 'Guilty Pleasure'
May 06, 2008 01:05:48The remake music video of alternative rock band Cobra Starship for their single "Guilty Pleasure" gets its official premiere on May 5. The clip is actually the second clip the band made for the song, the first one was done on October 26, 2007 with a low budget. This new video clip is directed by John Stalberg.
The single is taken from Cobra's album titled "Viva La Cobra!" which was released on October 23, 2007. "Guilty Pleasure" was set as the first single from the album in 2007.

Recent winner of the MTV2 Award at this year's MTV VMAs, the Alt-rockers 30 Seconds to Mars, has been booked to headline this fall's MTV2 $2 Bill tour, an outing that will travel the country using bio-diesel fuel.
On their being involved on the tour, the band's lead singer Jared Leto commented "Taking this approach gives us the opportunity to set an example and share with others the possibilities of real alternatives for a safer, cleaner world".

Alternative rock/progressive metal band 30 Seconds to Mars is preparing themselves to amuse their fans at their upcoming Welcome to the Universe Tour. The gig, slated to kick off October 17 near Minneapolis as part of the "MTV2 $2 Bill Presents" series, will "blow people's eyelids off", promised the band's frontman Jared Leto.
"We want to create a festival atmosphere. We plan on bringing an element of excitement and chaos and escape. We are going to do things that have never been done before, and we are making all kinds of plans and postulations about the possibilities. We have a lot of things happening, and it's very exciting." So Leto told MTV News.
