A Batch of Fresh 'The Twilight Saga's New Moon' Photos Found
October 15, 2009 09:10:32More photos from the highly-anticipated "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" have made their rounds. Found via Beyond Hollywood, the fresh images mostly center on Kristen Stewart's Bella and Taylor Lautner's Jacob. One in particular presents Bella in her three-way date with Michael Welch's Mike and Jacob. New pictures of Robert Pattinson's Edward are also included.
Those photos aside, People magazine is putting out its Special New Moon Collector's Edition, presenting an image of shirtless Jacob from "New Moon" and the first look at "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" in high quality. The special edition, which will hit shelves across the U.S. this Friday, October 16, also includes interview with director Chris Weitz and the cast members.
'Eclipse' New Star Jodelle Ferland 'Really Excited' to Meet Robert Pattinson
August 18, 2009 01:08:28Being signed as the new cast member of the highly anticipated "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse", Jodelle Ferland admitted she is "really, really excited" to meet Robert Pattinson who will reprise his role as Edward Cullen in the vampire drama movie. She continued telling E! News, "Every single person I've told has asked me if they could come to the set. I've said, 'I'll have to think about that'."
Asked to choose between Robert's Edward and Taylor Lautner's werewolf character Jacob Black, Jodelle had no hesitation to utter her pick, stating she is most definitely on team Edward. "I just think if Jacob had been introduced first, then everybody would like him better," she explained. "It just seems that since Edward was the first one to be with Bella, people want him to stay with her. So, you know, that's the character that you start to like first! And then Jacob comes into the picture and everybody's like, 'Oh, no! Stay with Edward'."

'New Moon' and 'Eclipse' Bigger in Scope Than 'Twilight'
August 07, 2009 10:08:29With "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" in post-production and "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" gearing up for production, "Twilight Saga" screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg shared on what to expect on both forthcoming movies. Talking to Entertainment Tonight, the scribe teased that those films will offer more action and will be bigger than "Twilight", the first of the series.
"It becomes bigger in scope. The first film was really a small romance in a way. There was the battle with James (Cam Gigandet) at the end. That was as big as it got," Rosenberg explained. "With 'New Moon,' we have the werewolf clan, we have the Volturi - and in 'Eclipse,' there is an epic battle, so with every book, with every episode of the movie, it gets grander in scope, which is fun to write."

One 'Twilight' Sequel for Each Year
December 12, 2008 09:12:24After Entertainment Weekly reported that "New Moon" is tentatively set for November 20, 2009 release, another interesting tidbit related to "Twilight" sequels has come out. Recently, Bloody-Disgusting throws a speculation that "Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn" could be heading to the big screen simultaneously one year after another.
That means "New Moon" will be coming out in 2009, while its follow-up, "Eclipse", could be set for 2010 release and the fourth adaptation, "Breaking Dawn", is to follow in 2011. Despite the breaking out of this new speculation, Summit Entertainment have yet to come out with any denial nor confirmation of the matter.
'New Moon' and 'Eclipse' Could Be Shot Back-to-Back
December 09, 2008 04:12:29In addition to the news of Catherine Hardwicke not helming "New Moon", more interesting tidbit is coming out from "Twilight" sequels. In the "Eclipse Auditions" report posted on Alan Baltes' blog, it is noted that Summit Entertainment are planning to shoot "New Moon" and "Eclipse" one after another using the same director.
"Summit Entertainment has started preparing the sequel New Moon, based on Stephenie Meyer's second book in the series, and to contain costs, the studio is filming the third book, Eclipse, back to back using the same new director," parts of the news read. It is further mentioned that the filming of "New Moon" is set to be kicked off in March 2009 and will continue up to the completion of "Eclipse".
More 'Twilight' Sequels in the Pipeline
November 14, 2008 02:11:38Following the footsteps of "New Moon" in getting a big screen treatment, Stephenie Meyer's bestselling vampire series, "Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn", are also going to be adapted into feature film materials. On the matter, The Hollywood Reporter claims Summit Entertainment have acquired the screening rights for the "Twilight" novel series.
Bringing back "Twilight" scribe to the project, the studio have signed up Melissa Rosenberg to pen the script for "New Moon" and "Eclipse" adaptations.
