Video Premiere: Termanology's 'How We Rock' Feat. Bun B
September 11, 2008 09:09:10A music video in an attempt to promote Termanology's new single called "How We Rock" has just been dropped. The single, which features one of the most experienced hip hop veterans Bun B, will appear in Termanology's debut album "Politics as Usual", which is due for release on September 30 via ST. Records/Nature Sounds.
Furthermore, when asked how the collaboration comes out, Termanology says that he has been personally approached by Bun B. "Around the time when I released 'Watch How It Go Down', Bun B reached out to (DJ) Premier and expressed interest in working with me," he states. "I then ended up hangin with Bun at his birthday party in Houston and me, Preem, and Bun cooked up this track."
Video Premiere: Bun B's 'You're Everything'
August 07, 2008 02:08:07Bun B has released music video for second single "You're Everything" from his latest album "II Trill", which was released on May 20 under Rap-A-Lot Records. The video is directed by Mr. Boomtown and produced by Raging Nation Films.
The video displays the rapper with some friends in a room full of newspaper cuttings on its wall. As the video goes on, one by one the paper cuttings are shown transparently on the screen. The papers mainly speak about the achievement of Hollywood big stars, such as Three 6 Mafia winning Grammy Awards and Lil Wayne selling album with a total of one million copies in a week.
Bun B of UGK to Release Star-Studded Album Post Pimp C's Death
February 29, 2008 12:02:53Now on his own, UGK rapper Bun B whose bandmate Pimp C died on December 4, will release an album with support from other rappers. His first release as a solo called "II Trill" will be released on April 29.
According to Billboard.com, those jumping behind this album are Chamillionaire, Lil Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, Rick Ross, Mya, Lupe Fiasco, Mike Jones, 8Ball & MJG, Travis Barker, Webbie, Slim Thug and many more. Meanwhile in the production panel, there are Scott Storch, Jazze Pha, Bigg Tyme, Mr. Lee and a couple more.
Thousands of Families and Friends Attended Pimp C's Funeral
December 14, 2007 10:12:39Bun B, Chamillionaire, Mike Jones, Trae and Willie D of the Geto Boys were among thousands of families and friends saying farewell to Pimp C in a funeral held Thursday, December 13 at the Robert A. Bowers Civic Center in the rapper's southeast Texas hometown of Port Arthur.
As the funeral service was about to begin, instrumentals of the music that made Pimp C famous were played over the sound system and when the music stopped playing the Rev. John R. Adolph began a prayer. The religious ceremony also included the reading of a resolution by the mayor of Port Arthur and remembrances by Jeff Sledge of Jive Records and Pimp C's mother, Weslyn Monroe who said her only son was in heaven.
"I Am Me" No. 1 on U.S. Pop Charts

Teen pop singer Ashlee Simpson successfully tops the U.S. pop charts on Wednesday with her new album "I Am Me" sold 220,000 copies in the week ended October 23. To follow her at No. 2 on the chart is Rod Stewart's "Thanks for the Memories," with sales of 193,000 copies.
Opens at No. 3 is Martina McBride's "Timeless" which sold for 185,000 copies, ahead of Canadian rock band Nickelback's "All the Right Reasons" at No. 4 with 132,000 copies in its third week and Stevie Wonder's "A Time To Love" at No. 5 with 121,000 copies. To start at No. 6 is Houston rapper Bun B's solo effort "Trill" with 118,000 copies. In the meantime, Depeche Mode's first new studio album in four years, "Playing the Angel" secures the 7th position, followed behind by Black Eyed Peas' "Monkey Business" which drops four places to No. 8 with 94,000 copies. Last week's champ, Alicia Keys drops drastically to No. 9 with her "Unplugged" set sold for 83,000 copies in its second week. Finishing this weekend's Top 10 is Kanye West's "Late Registration" which falls five places to No. 10 with 78,000 copies.
