Next James Bond Film Gets Writers

For this new Bond movie, producers have brought in the Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Peter Morgan to pen the screenplay.
46-year-old Morgan, who is known for his work in "The Queen", "Frost/Nixon" and "The Last King of Scotland", won't be working on the script alone though. He will be joined by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who have co-written the past four Bond features that include "Casino Royale" and "Quantum of Solace".

"Jennifer has all these qualities. It's great to hear she'd love to do a movie because we have used established actresses before such as Teri Hatcher and Denise Richards. It's great she's a fan."

Though not yet stepped back into his 007 shoes, Daniel Craig apparently had come along with the crew of "Bond 22" as they took some necessary early shots of "Madonna dell'Assunta Palio di Siena", a traditional bareback horse race held in Siena, Tuscany, Italy, Thursday, August 16, 2007.
The actor is reported to merely get a look at the race from the balcony while the crew was busy filming the event, which will be edited into the action sequence for the movie. According to Commanderbond.net, shots taken are going to be be used for the climax of the flick that will find James Bond pursuing "the film's villain down narrow cobbled streets, then across the town's rooftops and through its medieval aqueducts as the horses charge around the Piazza del Campo."
